Anyone experiencing Notification issues with Mail? It seems to be limited to my Exchange account. All visual notifications stop working after a few days, and nothing fixes unless I delete the account and re-add it. Any thoughts? I don’t really want to Reset All settings.

Think I had something similar. I went into notifications >mail>exchange and favorite mailboxes. Made sure both setting were the same. I think somewhere under favorite mailbox, it was different. I wasn’t getting lock screen or watch notification even though under the mail>exchange everything was allowed and checked. Maybe start there. Do all the above and also turn off/on again, to trip the setting.

HA! Brilliant! This must've changed with 12.1.4 because it worked just fine beforehand. Thanks for the tip!:)

I'm having a similar issue with phone notifications. I'll receive a call (and ignore it because it's spam) and when it stops ringing there's no notification on the lockscreen. Opening to the homescreen shows no badge on the phone app either. The only way I would know if I missed a call would be to go in to recent calls. All phone notification settings are as they have always been.

I’m having the same problem on my iPhone X, stuttering animations, messages app sometimes freezes for a second as its openning, device getting warm running general apps an battery life has decreased aswell, wifi performance has taken a hit too in this build. It might have the live photo an group facetime fix but its a big step down from 12.1.3

Ever since updating to 12.1.4 on my XS Max, the information on the lock screen stays on the screen for about 2 seconds after I unlock my phone. Take a look at the screenshot I took. I didn't have this problem before on 12.1.2 which is what I was on prior. Anyone else seeing this?
That’s definitely strange. I’m sure you’ve done basic things like hard restart?

It is only me, or you also think that is the worst iOS ever? My XSMax is running with a lot of glitches, bugs... icons flickering.
I was thinking about going to an Apple store and ask for a brand new, but pretty sure it’s gonna be the same.
Really sad for a such expensive mobile.

Have you tried resetting all settings or perhaps restoring as new?

I wouldn't be so sure. I was of the opinion that I had made a huge mistake upgrading to the XS and I was at the point that I was going to take whatever Apple offered me as a trade in to get myself another X. They suggested they replace the device before I take that route and the experience has been a night/day difference.

It's the same for me on my iPhone X. It's getting quite hot when using different apps. I can literally use Twitter for 5 minutes and i can already feel that the phone is getting hot and it's never been like that before, at least for me... Also i've never complained about battery drain but this time i can definitely see the difference in battery life comparing to ex. 12.1.3

Anybody know what this is?

God I love you, iOS 12.

It may not just be you, but it is surely a small number. Take it in and get a new phone.

I assume you did NOT recently pull a sim card or deactivate an e-sim?

Looks like you’ve used dual sim recently and you removed one of the line so it would show that. You can also go to Settings>Cellular and it will show you two lines with one is off.
I’ve never once activated a second line nor have I ever put in any SIM other than the one that came in the phone.

Since iOS 10 or 11 I have the same problem that sometimes I cannot close the app which is actually running. I’m switching to the app switcher to close it but if I swipe to the another opened apps within the app switcher or to the home screen the app appears again in the switcher. When I‘m trying to go to the home screen it’s opening the closed app and crashes.

Reported it very often to Apple but they don’t care.

Found an another bug: Install an app with an widget from the App Store (like weather). The app is in your home screen and you can use it. But it takes hours to enable the widget. Bc you cannot choose the widget.

Odd, can't say I've encountered those issues myself. For example, usually the widget is available for use right away and just need to be added on the Today screen.

Have you tried some troubleshooting on the level of potentially resetting all settings or even reinstalling in case something weird went wrong somewhere?

Well. My older iPhone had the same issues too. I have the XS Max since November

On an iPhone X
When I close an app now, there’s about a second or so delay where the homescreen stays blurry before actually getting to the homescreen.

Anybody else having this issue?

Settings app is freezing all the time. And even if my XS Max is muted I can still hear videos I’m playing. Have to mute again.

More like the hardware design of the XS series of devices. Other devices don't have the same issues as those two. So not really an iOS 12 issue per se but more likely an issue with the new antenna design and/or the particular drivers for those models. It was already proven that new antenna design had poorer RF performance than past designs.

How so?
had to do a hard reset after I updated but Im not sure if it was the new IOS or some of the apps.
Music memos for one doesn't work and may have crashed my XR after the update.
I have a qsc app which runs my audio mixer and once thats in front I can't move it over to use other apps. Bugs.
