No. Group FaceTime is disabled server-side. No update will re-enable it. Apple will push updates containing a fix and then will re-enable it server-side, with a check being made there that will only allow access to those devices running a patched iOS version.

That contradicts what Apple said. They have stated it is already re-enabled server side, and an update this week will restore functionality to devices. So, I was wondering if the shipping iOS fix is also in this week’s beta.

Not sure they've said they've re-enabled it (server-side or otherwise).

"We have fixed the Group FaceTime security bug on Apple's servers and we will issue a software update to re-enable the feature for users next week," said Apple in a statement issued to MacRumors and other media outlets.

Right. But fixing it and turning it back on are 2 different things. It wasn’t the bug that turned it off server-side...it was Apple. My guess is they will turn Group FaceTime back on as soon as they release 12.1.4 (assuming that the fix is already in this beta).

Problem with Messages - 12.2 beta 2 Iphone xs - since updating my messages app is constantly freezing, its almost unusable. just clicking on a name in the list causes it freeze then when you start typing it keeps freezing. Also messages keep staying as "unread" after reading them and coming back after deleting them.

I’m experiencing connectivity issue with public WiFi using captive page. It is connected but no active data.

Edit: I was able to resolve it by continuing to turn off WiFi and then attempt to reconnect until there is active data.

Actually just rebooted the phone and now the volume HUD is fixed! Also seems like the phone turns on much faster than it has in the past. (Apple logo popping up I mean. Before, I had to hold my power button down much longer.)

I spoke too soon. Adjusting the volume while in-game shows as Ringer. Reporting...

I don’t understand why there’s not more “screen time” fixes - with all the parents reporting these hacks and kids workarounds why isn’t apple fixing these yet!!

There is a TV remote shortcut when AirPlaying to Apple TV in the media control UI

That was there on beta 1. Tap it and see if they fixed the GUI issue in the bottom two corners of the screen. Before the curve of the interface didn’t fill in the curve of the display.

Note: I did report that and add it to the list of bugs.

The perpetual battery life percentage where the date should be in the lock screen doesn't seem to update properly. On my iPad, the battery in the top right is showing 32% and the lock screen shows 18%.
