I’m really liking the stuck battery life status on the Lock Screen, so much so that I’ve sent a feedback to Apple suggesting that they keep it and just stick the date back in above it.

Maybe if enough of us X series device owners ask for it, a little accidental but extremely useful feature might become a permanent addition.

App Store won’t refresh updates beyond January 31st. I can manually update an app by going to it’s specific page..

Updating to beta 2 did not fix.
Try signing out and back into the App Store, my App Store is updating Apps just fine Twitter has just updated for me as I type this.

Ally Bank app not allowing log ins on 12.2 beta 2. I contacted their tech support and thats what they confirmed to me. They are actively working on an update.

I glance at my phone to know the date, not to know that my battery isn't dead.

I wouldn’t mind the option to tap that part of the screen to toggle between date and battery percentage.

Tired it. Reset my settings too. Since it’s happening on both of my devices I feel like it’s software related and going through the hassle of a full restore isn’t necessary.

I'm ok with the charge displaying on the lock screen but can't they display the date too?
It's a known issue and they will more than likely get it back to normal in the next beta, or at least by the time the final public release is out.

Would someone please do me a favor...

I’ve reported this twice already, but I really want to make sure that the issue isn’t solely on my end.

Open the Messages app and record a 5-minute audio message, then attempt to send it and see if it goes through. You don’t have to actually speak or anything, and you can just send it to yourself to avoid sending a blank audio message to a friend, but I’d really like to know whether a 5-minute message actually gets delivered for anyone else here.

Beginning with the first 12.2 beta, the quality of incoming audio messages didn’t change at all, but the quality of my outgoing messages sounds significantly louder, more clear, and with a bit more treble and less bass. And, for whatever reason, only messages shorter than 4 minutes will send. Anything longer than 4 minutes fails to send.

Thank you in advance. I really need to get to the bottom of this.
As far as I know these iPhones still can be used as a ...well telephone, that you can actually talk to people! I know crazy right? People mostly think that these things are small computers but Apple actually still lets them be used for voice calls too! You should try it, it works pretty well. JK :) All in jest.

Actually every iPhone I’ve had is a terrible phone. Fortunately I don’t really talk on the phone very often.

Apologies if this has been mentioned: I’m getting a “Messages in iCloud is Currently Disabled” with a Repair Account prompt under it. I’m not, nor have I ever activated, Messages in iCloud. The message never clears.

I think I'll wait till beta 3 and see what's thats like, seems to many annoying issues here and there still.

On a side note, I haven't been on a beta on my Max since I got it at launch and my battery is holding up rather well. My 8 Plus was dropping 1-2% health a month and I was always on the beta train, every update. One thing I have done different is not let the phone go out of the range of 10% and 95%, I don't charge my Max overnight too much and rarely leave it sitting on charge at 100% for long periods.

Currently sitting at 3,300 mAh (usually is around 3,330 mAh) which is more than the original 3,174 mAh... for anyone wondering the Battery Health on the iPhone says 100% too.

P.S Sorry for going off topic :D

All I wanted was a separate ring volume of the alarm volume! Sometimes I have to lower the overall volume of the device so the alarm does not ring loudly when I wake up, and with that, I end up not listening when someone calls me!

Anybody else having trouble with AOL Mail?

AOL Mail cannot be used in iOS Mail application even though it works and syncs with identically the same account and information when used in AOL application.

Login is correct but when using Settings/Passwords & Accounts, it freezes and never inserts the account into the Mail application.

That's Apple's way of saying, "what is wrong with you man?"
[doublepost=1549460147][/doublepost]I just noticed this morning during my drive in that the dialer app has reverted the upper-right button back to just a toggle for Speaker Phone.

This is a welcome change for me from a safety standpoint because pretty much the only time I would use that is while driving. Fewer touches means less distraction.

I understand, but my AOL email accounts have been in use for over 30 years. It'd cause a bit of a ruction if I tried to migrate, and if you don't use AOL Mail you might not be aware that since everything was sold off, there is no forwarding allowed.

I'm sure I'll be forced to do something at some point, but I'm not ready. :)

Yeah, same for me too.
I am also having this. I clicked on repair and it went away. Went and checked it did not activate icloud in settings so I dont know what or if it repaired anything. Did this yesterday after the update and it was gone the rest of the day. Today it is now back. I have not restarted the phone since the update or since hitting repair.

I have now restarted my phone and its gone. No idea.

Nah, I was just heckling you. I have a HoTMaiL account that I've had for 20 years now. The only account I have close in age is my eBay account, and it's within weeks of the HoTMaiL.

Lucky that’s good. I have T-Mobile also and I get 50/45 speeds never higher unless I’m on my my WiFi OBV and I have fiber to the house with 1000/1000 speeds and I max out at like 550/550 speeds via WiFi! Using ASUS blue cave 2600 router

This has been an issue with aol accounts on iOS for at least a few months now. AOL changed the way their servers work and it’s been breaking the built in mail app. The only fix for now is to use the aol app and remove the aol account from the native mail app.
