Same on the T-Mobile XS Max. So annoying when you arrive at a subway stop with service and everyone else is sending messages and browsing the web while your phone says no service for another 3-4 mins. I don’t even know if it’s worth sending feedback to Apple again.
Exactly, but beta 1 was pretty good. It also doesn't help that the cell service in the subway stations is terrible and overloaded every day.

Anyone noticed their phone getting randomly warm when you’re just browsing and using your phone regularly on LTE? Or when you’re updating apps. It doesn’t stay warm for long but when it happens it’s for a few minutes along with some battery drain.

Yep. Also it looks like my cell radio is back to crashing randomly again. It just crashed and took out WiFi with it. They did it all came back. Hmmm. Something is up.

It just happened when I was sending feedback too:

I have this issue just by going to Settings>General>About and scrolling around would crash it

Good to know I’m not the only one then. Lucky for me it doesn’t crash when I go to About. Weird issue. And seems related to other things.

Just curious. Who on the beta is considering going back to the new release?

I did on one of my testing device. When using iPSW on iTunes, I was prompted to input the passcode, once completed on iTunes, the device rebooted and I was prompted again for passcode to continue with the installation and prompted once more after it finished the installation to start using the device. It didn't resolve my Apple Pay requires an update error on that device.

Am I the only one with a complete crushed battery after this update? With beta 1 I got over 24 hours of usage time with my XS, but with beta 2 its maybe 15 hours. You can watch the battery dieing now.

I don't know if it fixes the bug, but as Group Facetime is available (i.e. the backend server is allowing me to use it with the 12.2 beta) I assume it is fixed.

Edit: Posts further down say it's not fixed. It seems that although the options are all there, and I can search for others to add to the call, if I try to actually add someone it just doesn't do anything.

It’s been fine here on my Max and iPad Pro. Have you reset settings or network settings? After a modem firmware update, I normally reset my network settings. Have no idea if that helps, but battery has been fine.

Seeing the same here. Probably losing about 10-15% an hour with light/moderate usage. I'm usually at 70% by 11am now when I'd usually be at 80-85.

It seems it's not fixed.

What happened to displaying the date? How can I get it back? I use it constantly. Now it just shows battery, which I don’t really care since I also use the battery case.

No update refresh still. But I’ve got that 5gE
