This has been an issue with aol accounts on iOS for at least a few months now. AOL changed the way their servers work and it’s been breaking the built in mail app. The only fix for now is to use the aol app and remove the aol account from the native mail app.

You can use outlook app also I think!!!

is this good enough to use as a daily driver? i know you shouldnt but 12.1.3 is so buggy for me freezes and not getting miss call notifications even with a fresh install so might get the beta, apart from small glitches is it worth me installing

My Max is still at 100% battery health (bought last October), but I’ve run most of the betas since then and also charge overnight to 100% every night.

I think I'll wait till beta 3 and see what's thats like, seems to many annoying issues here and there still.

On a side note, I haven't been on a beta on my Max since I got it at launch and my battery is holding up rather well. My 8 Plus was dropping 1-2% health a month and I was always on the beta train, every update. One thing I have done different is not let the phone go out of the range of 10% and 95%, I don't charge my Max overnight too much and rarely leave it sitting on charge at 100% for long periods.

Currently sitting at 3,300 mAh (usually is around 3,330 mAh) which is more than the original 3,174 mAh... for anyone wondering the Battery Health on the iPhone says 100% too.

P.S Sorry for going off topic :D

Hmmm. After the scandal over the enterprise certificates, I'm not sure I want to trust anybody other than Apple!! :)

Beta 2 has been fine here on my Max and iPad Pro 10.5. Better than beta 1. I’ve reported two or three bugs. After running beta 1, I went back to 12.1.3 mostly because of content blocking not working. That has been fixed in beta 2. I’ll be staying on the beta for now.

Make a backup and try it out. It’s what I did with beta 1. I went back to the release.

Beta 2 has been fine thus far for me.

Not sure if this was fixed in Beta 1 or not, but I’ve noticed that this section of MacRumors is FINALLY aligned correctly. Hallelujah!

Your lucky. My XS Max has dropped from 100-97%.

Only 2 things have changed. The iOS version and I’ve been using the Apple Smart Battery Case for a week.

I believe some users also experience slight battery degradation from user smart battery case

Oddly I have just checked coconut.

As you can see the iPhone says it is 97%

Coconut 2 days ago matched at 97%. But is now reporting 100%

I'm not overly concerned and i was only looking as I did wonder wether to not the case would ruin the internal battery. The phone is basically always charging according to the battery symbol. I know this is not allegedly the case. But the phone is always at 100% charge and the SBC drains.

All I wanted was a separate ring volume of the alarm volume! Sometimes I have to lower the overall volume of the device so the alarm does not ring loudly when I wake up, and with that, I end up not listening when someone calls me!
Have you tried the Bedtime function within the Clock app? The alarm tones there have progressive volume so they start out very low and increase the longer you let it go. That should free up your volume buttons for your ringer until the bug gets ironed out.

Beta 1 & 2 have caused me no issues. I have it installed on my XR and iPP 9.7. No issues on either device. YMMV

Just installed on my xs max and honestly i can feel a smoother ui and everything feels snappier not just saying it :)

After update my imessage and sms dont work. It wont send and delete them. I have made hard reset, with no result. Anyone with same issue
[doublepost=1549486144][/doublepost]
Problem with Messages - 12.2 beta 2 Iphone xs - since updating my messages app is constantly freezing, its almost unusable. just clicking on a name in the list causes it freeze then when you start typing it keeps freezing. Also messages keep staying as "unread" after reading them and coming back after deleting them.
Have the same on my XS.... hope they fix it asap

Has anyone noticed improvements to cellular/WiFi connectivity on this beta? It is still my only real gripe with the XS

I have just tryed reset network settings, and it seems to solve it for now... i will see in time:)

ios 12.1.3 was ok with my cell dropping connection and the problem came back again. Tired of the problem, swap the XS max. What a step back :-(

When I open a new tab in safari, the screen is now blank instead of showing my most used sites. wTF?

This beta has been a step backwards from beta 1 in regards to cellular. I have not had wifi issues. It has a hard time recovering from no service/low service areas. Xs on Verizon here.

Same on the T-Mobile XS Max. So annoying when you arrive at a subway stop with service and everyone else is sending messages and browsing the web while your phone says no service for another 3-4 mins. I don’t even know if it’s worth sending feedback to Apple again.
