I’m really liking the stuck battery life status on the Lock Screen, so much so that I’ve sent a feedback to Apple suggesting that they keep it and just stick the date back in above it.

Maybe if enough of us X series device owners ask for it, a little accidental but extremely useful feature might become a permanent addition.

Try signing out and back into the App Store, my App Store is updating Apps just fine Twitter has just updated for me as I type this.

I can’t stand having the battery percentage on the lock screen. I don’t need a battery percentage.

It’s possible the next beta isn’t till 2 weeks or earliest next week if it is to address the Group FaceTime. It’s still possible to downgrade without losing data on iOS 12.1.4 using iTunes recovery mode.

I finally had a good battery life day on this beta.

Things i noticed: phone not getting warm often or randomly. Only once or twice when I was doing Uber.

Cell radio didn’t crash at all since I rebooted it this morning.

Slow drain each hour and mind you I was listening music for at least four hours which is more than I usually do, and using my phone at the same time too.

At 16% now.

Anyways let’s see how it does tomorrow.

Same. That’s why I’m surprised today. Looks like restarting in the morning might have helped me today.

Ah, nope you are right. I've only looked at it while charging.

Also I've hard rebooted my phone and it's still just battery percentage when off the charger.
Mine switches to the date (as designed) after about a second so it’s obviously not everyone but still needs a fix.

Ally Bank app not allowing log ins on 12.2 beta 2. I contacted their tech support and thats what they confirmed to me. They are actively working on an update.

Does this mean I can skip my car payment this month?

It is also worthy to note that the 12.1.4 update resolved/patched 2 zero-day vulnerabilities that had been exploited in the wild already. If those patches aren’t already in 12.2 beta 2 I suspect we will see beta 3 sooner rather than later.

I would be curious what OpenSignal says for your area. Are your expectations in sync with real world usage?

I was in the same boat at times. "Speeds suck" ... I then got OpenSignal and discovered ... "Oh, it sucks for everyone else too."

They removed the date for under the clock in the notification slide!!!
