iOS 12.2 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

It means this one build was sent back 6 times for bugs/revisions. It means that this one beta is not nearing public release. Still a lot of things need to be addressed.

btw guys - carrier settings can affect transition between Wifi & Cellular for data path (keep in mind that the UMA/GAN / Wifi Calling settings will be in there).

Verizon USA XS Carrier got updated to 36.0 - updated first post.

Any change to the cellular menus? Is it possible to explicitly disable voice roaming now? (12.1.4 at VZW carrier version 35.0.2 only has data roaming on/off, no way to control voice roaming independently)

On beta 3 I kept getting this error. Anyone else have this on 3 or 4? It shows up when I go to my text messages

happened for me as well, but (so far) hasn't popped up in beta 4 (of course, i've only been on the beta for half a day)..

btw the new 'news' icon is suprisingly ugly.......

Slack seems to freeze on launch for me. Tried force close app, restarting phone, no luck.

Running beta 4. So far I’m not having the same WiFi problems. Speeds are fast via WiFi. Marginally better LTE sitting in the same spot as before install.

Exactly. And released a public beta version right behind it so they seem to think its pretty okay too.

My iPhone Xs Max is no longer showing a charging indicator when plugged into my 2018 Impala with CarPlay as of Beta 4. I tried all 3 USB ports and a different lightning cable but no luck. Reported to Apple.

Same for me. I went back to 12.1.4. The frequency of needing to toggle airplane mode was becoming ridiculous.

Under notifications there’s a setting at the bottom for public safety alerts. Not sure if it was in other betas.

Must be US only as I don’t have it.

Did you exceed the number of times you could say it?

On a more serious note, this beta definitely has improvements. So far it is feeling less sluggish than the previous one on iPhone 8 (Qualcomm).

All I want is optimisation of animation speeds to allow for snappier feel on iPhone 8 as it used to feel faster initially with iOS 12.

I had this on beta 3 but it seems to have gone on for me on beta 4

Same problem as some other people here I cannot get the ATV remote working in control centre.

It is the same on my iPad and iPhone
