Does your router have any beamforming functions under the 2.4GHZ settings? If so, disable them and see if that helps. Also, have you tried another channel? Don’t allow the router to auto pick channels. Set it to 1,6 or 11. Somethings you can try.

Anyone else notice a weird display bug (True Tone I think) when locking their phone? I'm seeing it on my iPhone X. After pressing the side button or letting the screen time out to lock, I notice the color temperature of the screen shift drastically toward blue right before it goes dark. Especially noticeable when using in a dark room.
Why can’t Apple get messages in the cloud right. When back a few days to look for a picture and it said “tap to download.” So I did. Guess what? I see this now.
Anyone else?

I disabled beam forming on my router and now WiFi is more stable and signal is better. If you guys have WiFi issues try this. This speed is from my room which is about 20 steps away with a another room in front then the router room and the router is on the end of it. Asus 1900 router.

iMessage is really broken. Not only because of the notifications. I don't even see new messages on my MacBook.
Having a completely different experience with iMessage.
I was having some other issues with b4, so I did a reset on my 6s, XR and iPP.
I set all three up as “new”. All three systems have iMessages, including photo attachments, synced back for 2 years.
I've just opened the messages app on my MacBook and I have seen 2 new messages from 9 am this morning. Haven't even got a notification for it.
It’s even worse when you got your phone airplane and you get messages. The message icon will look like you haven’t got anything new.
I noticed that as well, but i am on beta 3...The screen woke up but mo notification i had to reboot and it fixed it this time around!
I have an ASUS as well. If yours have those settings I mentioned, make those changes on 2.4ghz. Hope it works out for you. Let us know how it goes.
Same here on iPhone XR.
Another thing I am noticing since Beta 4: pressing the sleep/wake button to turn off the screen has a slight delay.
With Beta 3 and earlier, the screen started to dim and shut off instantly after pressing the side button. With Beta 4 there is a noticable delay until it starts dimming and tuning off...
After reading your post, I tried replicating this and I can see what you’re taking about.
However, on my Max at least, it is very hard to notice except in low light, and even then it really isn’t especially noticeable if I’m not trying to see it.
I wonder if this is unique to this beta or if others using earlier builds are experiencing it.
In any case, it doesn’t really affect my use or enjoyment from the phone.
I know it might be a bigger deal for others; if so I hope Apple fixes it before the final release of 12.2.
Just had this happen but does not seem to happen every time. Have had it happen three times since Monday.
Every time I restart my iPhone, the "Change with Buttons" setting under Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringer and Alerts will be disabled. I have to enabled it each time I restart the phone. Is this a bug? I had this issue since the first beta.
Crackling earpiece on XS / XS Max at maximum volume still not fixed on beta 4...

Deleting apps, only the button for DONE in upper right has vanished. Not every time but 2 or 3 times recently.
Also I'll be in Instagram and when attempting to swipe up, doesn't go back home desktop. Only way to recover is tap power button.
Wish it was as easy to close all apps as on Android. Also I'm preey certain clearing IG's large cache would help, but that's not easy either.
I'd much prefer Settings had an App and put all applications in there as a sub list. Then include every option for an app in one place. Rip and move all the options now in General Settings to include delete/uninstall and manage cache, data, etc. Yes, more like Android. Call me spoiled when I see something that I like and that works. Reason I have Note 9 along with iPhones (and IPP plus Mac).

Not sure if this is new, but first time I've noticed it. When installing new configuration profiles in Safari, you can't complete the profile installation while in Safari. It asks you if you want to install a configuration profile... then when you hit "Allow," it tells you "Review the profile in Settings app if you want to install it." Then you have to go to Settings, where there's a new "Profile Downloaded" category to complete the installation. First noticed this in B3, but not sure if it's been discussed before.

Hi I am under ios 12.2 beta 4 and I can’t add anymore my google account to synchronize email calendar and contact. After the 2 factor authentification, it’s back to the accours election and can’t save it... very frustrating!!! Is it a known bug under the beta 4???
