iOS 12.2 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

it's here on my XS, bottom of notifications (under amber & emergency alerts); ATT US...
Had this issue through all the betas - incorrect unread email count in stock email app. With b4 the "All Inboxes" count is now correct however the individual account count is incorrect. Once I go into each individual account the unread count corrects itself. The app badge count matches the sum of the accounts, not the "All Inboxes" count.

How is battery life on the XS Max? I upgraded my X a few days ago and ready to jump back on the beta wagon.

siri, who, for me, would often lose her voice in the last 2 betas, now answers all the time. but she just told me it's "ta-twenty-six pm" (instead of "TWO-twenty-six pm"); i asked her several times, to be sure. she seems to like 'ta' better than 'two'.
EDIT: seems fixed with a reboot.
EDIT EDIT: ah, well. she's back saying it's 'ta-fifty-five pm'. at least she's speaking to me...

Very good on my XS Max (Verizon, US)
Also, no other problems. I’m totally comfortable using it on my daily driver.
It is me or maybe I’m wrong . With each version of
iOS or ios 12.2 beta 4 My Xs max it’s getting slower and slower ... animations are slower , if I open apps
It’s slow .. videos are stuttering , opening apps it’s stuttering .. it’s feels like my iPhone it’s running in full low power mode .. Can someone confirm that ?

Wifi = awful. I’ve never experienced a Wifi product this bad before. Just constant drop outs and doing nothing. Been like this for 2 minutes before I gave up and forced restart the phone.
My Max is running very well on this beta. Sorry that doesn’t help. Good luck getting your issues sorted out.
You sir need to do a factor reset and restore. Super smooth for me except some random stutters on the home screen.
Why not toggle WiFi instead of reboot? Lol. Try a network settings reset.
Bad part is I now have Siri answering in the middle of Netflix when I didn’t ask anything. And no, it didn’t match the movie topic.
Has anyone else experienced a vastly decreased audio level during Car Play? It's really weird, cause using Siri is about the same level as before, but every app (podcast, music and such) is much lower on 12.2 betas (I noticed it on both b3 and now b4 - didn't try the two first ones).
Before, my audio unit was always set at 12 and now I have to set it at 16-17 if I want to be able to hear my podcasts. But that makes Siri almost blow me out of the car, when I use it.

I just realized there’s an added space between Available and WiFi Address.

Solid WiFi speed on Asus AC3200
Sometimes it’s performing well , sometimes not. This is a known issue with Xs phones . I made a comparison between iPhone X and Xs , Xs max .. and iPhone X it’s super smooth . Xs , Xs max it looks like their struggle with iOS 12 ... it’s not smooth at all ..
It’s so odd how inconsistent it is between users. Same thing happens to me but a simple toggle on and off from the control center fixes it for me every time.
I have no doubt some users are having major WiFi issues on these betas, but it’s been solid on my XS Max so far with no problems.

I’ll check in a bit, but my audio unit (Chevrolet) recognizes when Siri is talking and I can adjust Siri’s volume independently of the audio volume. The head unit labels it “voice” when I change the volume while Siri is talking.
Edit: I checked and it’s behaving normally for me.

I cannot believe I am still getting settings freezing. I never had this until PB 3 and now PB4. Mental.
I wish there was a setting, along with 'raise to wake', that forgoes the swipe up after FaceID unlocks the phone and takes you straight to the main screen. This choice would be great.

Its not necessarily the speed. It’s the drop outs. Toggling airplane on and off doesn’t always fix the issue and it can take 5 minutes to reconnect on its own. 2.4GHZ only
