Interesting, it doesn't seem to come up in Apple's documentation (so far): https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207354Under what circumstances will I get this AirPlay (?) icon up there on my iPhone 8? I have never seen it before on my phone. What is the meaning of this, could anyone help elaborate?

I notice a lot of my photos are missing in the Photos app but they are on iCloud. All the photos are taken on the device. I had to turn off and on iCloud Photos to resync 80% of my missing photos.
What happened to optimization on older devices.. i don't even want to upgrade to ios 12.2 at this point after seeing how bad it is.. iP7+ still running 12.1.4.80% bug resurfaced on my iPhone 8, too. After a lot of effort, it edges forward, to stop charging arbitrarily. Sometimes it works flawlessly to 100%. Something is surely off, hopefully gets fixed by the next beta.

"How bad it is"?What happened to optimization on older devices.. i don't even want to upgrade to ios 12.2 at this point after seeing how bad it is.. iP7+ still running 12.1.4.
I'm running iOS 12.3 beta 2 on a variety of devices including a venerable iPhone 6. Very pleased with its performance. Just had Apple install a new battery (old one finally gave up the ghost) and so far the battery is doing great. iOS 12.3 actually feels nicely optimized on the iPhone 6 even though it's still beta. What happened to optimization on older devices.. i don't even want to upgrade to ios 12.2 at this point after seeing how bad it is.. iP7+ still running 12.1.4.

I have had no issues with this version, either!Mr. Samurai's post is probably based on what he's read in this thread, more specifically where forum-goers congregate to discuss issues with the current beta release. His brain is playing tricks on him because like the rest of the internet, most people don't come to places like this when they're content with something and practically every post is someone discussing a bug or bugs they've experienced.
For me personally, 12.3 B2 has been lovely.
Thank god Qualcomm is coming back into the mix, get back to better signal for iphones!Yep I agree. Stable and smooth beta other than 4 common issues. (Random signal lost on a random day, random stuttering, random warming up, and the occasional freeze.)
