Just about everything transfers over if you use iCloud.
If you backup to iTunes, you need to enable encryption first or some things won't get backed up.

Also if your app/music/TV/movie are bought from two different account, restoring from iTunes does not restore purchases from both accounts. Only the one you are actively using during that backup. iCloud backup on the other hand, will restore purchases from all accounts you have used to buy app and such.

I'm very disappointed with the new TV app. On my iPad its okay, but its terrible on my XS max. Why no landscape mode? And when I start a video its by default in portrait mode as well, terrible design choice for a media app. I already miss the old app.

The update seems good on my Xs max. Most notable change in daily use is when I’m on a webpage and I swipe to go back, there doesn’t seem to be any page reload. The webpage is there without any loading. Now I don’t know why this is faster now but feels good

I find the chosen artwork in the movie/shows library terrible. Not only is it different to the ones in the itunes app, they are also not very appealing.
The worst can be seen in the new cover for the movie „Downfall“: it shows a big logo of the channel „SHOWTIME“ in the corner!!!
I always used to like apple for their artwork they chose for the movies/shows...

Yea it’s very “cheap” looking.

My X has never had worse battery. With iOS 12.3 I’m down to 40% from 100% with 2.5 hrs SOT. Battery health is 99%. It used to last much longer till yesterday.

I’d give it a day or so until the phone “settles in”. Whether it’s reindexing or whatever, the first day or 2 after an update is not a good time to assess battery life.

Has anyone seen EverythingApplePro's new video about iOS 13? He seems to have much more release notes that we got, and they include notes for improved camera speed, portrait mode quality, faster performance and etc.

Really don't get if this is real or not.

I believe some or all of that was included in the initial iOS 12 release notes.

Interesting. I didn’t delete my public beta profile and yet software update shows official iOS 12.3 available to download & install.

Is this new?

Not new.
IPP G2 on PB - have been seeing this all through 12.
Didn't pay attention when on 11.
[doublepost=1557853372][/doublepost]Will give it a few days before I take a hard look at battery life.
OTA and then reboot of my devices when updating.
IPP 12.9 G2 and iPhone 8+

1. Safari seems a bit smoother at this point. Might just be subjective.
2. Spectrum TV and Youtube; getting intermittent video freeze (2-3 seconds) then the video picks back up skipping the material played during the freeze. Not wifi as my speeds during these times is 100-200
3. iMessage is not syncing across my devices. rMB (2015), IPP, iPhone - when a message comes through the notification is seconds to minutes apart. Completing the message on the rMB always updates to the IPP and iPhone however messages completed on either of the iDevices may / may not update to the other devices.
4. Had to redo the Sync setup in my Escape as it was unable to connect to the 8+. Redoing the devices in Sync fixed the issue.

More later.

Don't us Apple Music nor Apple TV.

iOS storage “other” is nearly full now. How do you purge that? I have tried syncing with itunes and deleting apps.

Do you still have your beta profile installed? If so, there may be a lot of logs and diagnostic info still stored on-device.

The battery life seems better than iOS 12.2 now.

But my battery life is still worse, iP 6s Battery Health 100%
