Works pretty good for me. iPhone X (in german).
Sometimes it takes time to display the keyboard, but nothing really bad so far.

I am a bit disappointed by the new features, even though we knew it will not be a revolution.
Group Notifications is the only thing I really like. Changes to the Photos app are also welcome. But I still expected more.
The Apple "News" app is still not available here in Switzerland

Is anyone here running iOS 12 with MacOS 10.13.5 and know if iCloud messages works between the two?
I'm tempted to update my iPhone but definitely not my MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: iCloud messages is working between iOS 12 and MacOS 10.13.5.

not sure why everyone is so surprised about the stability. Their whole point was to make it more stable even though it's a beta, having a ton of bugs would contradict their whole message.

I’m not surprised it’s stable. When was iOS, the occasional Unicode glitch or the like, ever truly unstable? What I am pleasantly surprised about it is a sense of fluidity.

Flick a safari window to scroll and immediately initiate multitasking. Keeps scrolling in thumbnail without so much as a dropped frame. There’s still time for Apple to rescue defeat from the jaws of victory but things are feeling really nice (on a 10.5 iPP though. YMMV)

I seem to recall seeing a website here or there complaining about it, yes.

I did on several when searching for the new profile. I had to disable my adblock app and go into safari settings and diable some settings. I'm Installing The new beta, now.

iOS 12 macht spaß!

The digital health features will be great for my family. And I’m just happy everything is already so stable! Next year will be the big year, though.

How is battery life holding up so far on the iPhone X? Also, the activity data from your Watch is still there when updating to iOS 12?

- new interface for trophies in the activity app with some new icons also
- color picker for the pen when you edit a screenshot (more colors)
- new play Button on artist banner in Apple Music ( launch a random song)
- new « auto update button for the system updates
- the iMessage app menu changes again
- for me the music widget on lockscreen is now in dark mode

Apparently, Pandora (free) is also broken in IOS 12 beta 1, as it was with IOS 1.4.1 beta 1. This is only a statement, not a complaint as I am fully aware that they are both betas. I tried resetting network settings, but have not tried uninstall, and reinstall, because, won't I loose my favorites if I do, or are they restored when I log on to pandora again?Uninstall and reinstall, didn't work either, but instead of getting a pandora can't connect message, I get the heartbeat, like, pandora pulsating animation, constantly. Oh, well.

Probably too much, or maybe a surprise.
Would love to have more controls over the notifications. Group notifications is like a good first step, but more options there would be great (for example I had to mute my family chat because there is so much going on. It would be nice to see 1 notification on the lockscreen that there are new messages, but not a scrollable list of 150 messages).

Maybe some more options of customizing the homescreen, some changes to widgets...i don't know. But for a year of work the changes don't impress me.
Okay, if it's fast and stable that's great. And for other people some changes are great too. But I don't mind Animojis or Memojis or whatever it's called, I don't use Siri and I'm not yet excited with AR...so maybe it's just me.

Looks like field test mode was updated to not look like it's from 2013:

good step in the right direction but still kind of dysfunctional.

Iphone 6

Apparently the app Battery Life needs an update. It shows my battery health at 0% instead of the norm of 86-91%, LOL?

Lirium also show battery health at 0%.

I know about the beta 1 warning, but this is the first time for theses apps on any of the many I have installed. just reporting and not complaining.

Apple's battery health beta setting shows 87%, though.

Should I report on the feedback app to Apple and how do I report to app developers?
The last time I tried feedback reporting for a third party app in the app store, it would not let me post, for some reason.

How does grouped notifications work with notification previews hidden? Most apps already grouped them smartly that way (e.g. WhatsApp „x unread messages“ that unfolded into x notifications on unlock).
Is it a stack of hidden content notifications now?

Even iOS 11 is still sloppy. But will take a look at the version 12
