iOS 12 Beta 10 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Since I’ve updated my iPhone to iOS 12 beta my HomePod doesn’t recognize when I want to switch on a single light. For example when I say “switch on bedside lamps” it activates the scene “lights on” and all of the lights in the house go on. The HomePod also seems to react a lot more slower, compared to when my iPhone was on iOS 11.4.1. It’s kind of odd, because There is no beta installed on the HomePod. Has anyone else any problems with the HomePod?
It wasn’t. But the more I use it. The smoother it feels lol. No crashes. No hangs anymore. It just flies
iPhone 6. For me is pretty good beta. It is not perfect in performance terms, but it is much better than iOS 11.

For example an strange one is CarPlay Siri reading my iMessages, it adds the word “quotes” at the beginning and the end of the message.
For example, if I receive two messages saying “hello Luis” and “How are you?”. It literally reads:
Quotes hello Luis quotes.
Quotes how are you? Quotes
I already sent this bug to feedback app.

If you would do a DFU install, and the problem persists, it might be a better indication that this is actually a bug, versus just being the joys of OTA beta updates.

Yes, I have had that message on both my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 10.5" after updating both to PB8.
But have you power cycled your device since the update?
I only got the pop up message when I had turned my devices on this morning. I always power them off at night.

Just did it and nothing popped up. Is it meant to happen right away or after a short while?
I received the message as soon as my device restarted after updating to the latest beta. It’s been 3 hours since I seen the message.
Me too, exactly after updating. It popped up after introducing the passcode, but before asking the SIM PIN.
Not sure this will help you, but I updated my iPad Mini4 and it’s running great. The fastest and smoothest ever. I think that iPad Mini 4 is the same vintage as iPad Air 2.
I have a problem. I can’t put my phone down because of how snappy everything feels. I don’t even have many useful things to do on it; I just keep cycling between apps in awe.
