Guys,
My battery percentage is stuck while charging.... It does not change no matter how long I leave it charging....
The only way to update the percentage is turning off and back on.
Anyone with this?
PS: iPhone X

Yep. Phone is unplugged and shows as charging.

I’m becoming tempted to install this on my primary iPhone 7 Plus. I might cave soon. I’ve been using the PB on my iPad Pro 10.5 and it seems very solid at this point. Most others seem to be having a good experience as well, and we must be within a week or two of GM by now. Nothing much should change from here on out. Anyone else done this yet?
I installed this beta on my iPhone X, which is my only phone and my primary device. (I also have an iPad Pro 10.5 and an iPad mini 4.)

It is working absolutely great on all three devices.

I think the risks of catastrophe are minimal. I think it’s ready to install on most people’s daily drivers.

View attachment 777606 Found this glitch when you have your phone in landscape mode, however with potrait orientation and then you unlock your phone and open calculator.

That's probably going to happen b/c orientation lock is "ON" per when locking/unlocking the phone; I can see why it did this b/c home screen is always portrait. (Unless, you have a iPhone+ model.) The orientation lock is always going to override first not to what your last orientation was per which ever app you had open at the time when locking the phone/off. Not really seeing this as a glitch.

Can you tell if the wifi calling issues are fixed?

I haven't noticed any problem, and I'm on wifi calling a lot it seems because of the reception near my home. But happy to look further. Is there a particular scenario you want me to test?

I had this issue on a previous beta on my X but not anymore. Not sure if it was a hard restart that fixed it or installing a new version.. have you tried a hard reset?

My phone wouldn’t show a percentage increase past 80%. I did submit feedback back then.

EDIT: Thinking about it, the fact that I submitted feedback should mean a hard restart didn’t do the trick as a permanent solution.

I don’t know anything beyond what the OP release notes say, but T-Mobile service in Boise is garbage so I rely heavily on Wi-Fi calling basically wherever I go.

According to what’s written the issue is when transitioning from Wi-Fi calling to cellular.

OK, that's what I thought you were referring to. I've always seen sporadic issues when going from a wifi call to cellular, not just on iOS 12 but going back to when I had AT&T and now with T-Mobile. Sometimes the call transfers OK, sometimes it doesn't. I've always just kind of rolled with it. I'll try to force it later today.

At this point it definitely works noticeably quicker and smoother than 11.4.1 did on my 6S Plus. Furthermore, I wasn’t prepared for another speed boost with beta 10 but it’s even quicker. Apple have done a bang up job with this version.

Anyone else on a 6S Plus had their Touch ID completely broken by this update? Can't unlock, view passwords, use Apple Pay or even add a new fingerprint. Pretty poor.
Nope. Works beautifully for me.

I remember back around Beta 3-4, I was showing someone how much quicker the camera was to open. So I compared my 6 Plus running the beta to my X running iOS 11, and when put side-by-side, it was embarrassing. The X totally blew the 6 Plus out of the water. It wasn't even close and I looked silly.

Now it's nearly as quick, if not quicker in some cases, as my X. I re-demoed that last night with far better results. I tend not to notice small speed increases. But that was a test that really put everything in perspective for me.

Still, I'll take the X every time!

Stupid question: on the iPad how do you access control center when in an app? When I’m in an app (just one or split view) and swipe down on the uppper right corner I get Notification Center not control center. If I swipe down again then control center shows up. But if I’m on the home screen not in an app and swipe down in the right hand corner I get control center right away.

Have you got control centre access within apps enabled?

Bug still exists where when on a call, the background blur goes away on the call screen and your home screen background comes through.

Ah, that solved it. Thanks! One thing though, if you’re in split view and don’t swipe from the very far right corner you end up unpinning the app and it’s just floating out there. Not sure I like this change.

It may be a stuck iOS process. Try keeping the device plugged in for about 10 minutes to make sure any pending background tasks are finished, then do a hard reset.
