My settings icon is still flagged with a red 1 indicating something, but I can not find what it may be referring to....

Anybody else seeing this ?

Look for Apple Pay wanting to be setup. Also signing out of iCloud and back in seems to resolve it for many.

I have to ask, because my curiosity is eternal.

What about 2FA "horrifies" you? I like using it because I feel like I don't have to be worried someone can steal my password and instantly access my account.

EDIT: Quoted the wrong post. Fixed it. I'm a derp today...

Check out this thread.....my phone was almost unusable for 3 months.

I do like that 2fa feature too, but after that experience, no thank you.

Almost everyone here is praising beta 10 for its super fast performance and relative stability. I, too, have it on all my devices including my iPhone X (daily driver) and I couldn't be happier with the performance.

What a difference from 13 days ago, when beta 7 was released, many devs experienced apps freezing and laggy performance so Apple pulled it, then issued beta 8 two days later. During those two days, most of us were patient and reasonable, but a few said things like "Apple has lost its way". Where are those people now? Probably enjoying the crap out of beta 10.

Click Settings, ”Apple-ID, iCloud etc.” and at the bottom there’s (in my case) an iPhone X displayed as an icon.

That icon has a wallpaper that belongs to the deafult wallpaper for iOS 11.

The wallpaper should be the new one for iOS 12.

So, my conclusion is that beta 10 is not the last version of iOS 12.0 (unless Apple forgot to update these icons).

I noted that the same icons in Mojave in iTunes have been updated and hence have the new wallpaper.

Lol this is not going to prevent Apple from dropping beta 10 as the GM

Clearly apple forgot

iBooks stopped syncing reading progression, bookmarks and notes between my iPad Pro 10.5 and iPhone X - started happening within the last 1 or 2 betas. Signing out of iCloud and signing back in on iPad had no effect.

Also, removing the book (“Remove download”) and re-downloading it (from both devices) resulted in restoring their respective progression - e.g. the iPad restored its own progression (bookmarks, notes, etc.), while the iPhone X restored its own separate, different progression.

I don’t think iCloud is confused about having multiple copies of the same book - for the books I tested, they only appear as a single entry in my Library.

It feels like iCloud is keeping track of reading progression and bookmarks for each book separate by device. I really hope this is not intentional.

Update: This issue (at least for me) affects both iBooks store-bought books, as well as my own manually added .epub books.

I've woken up this morning with no Mobile Data access.

EE are not reporting any problems, the guy next to me on an Android phone on EE has access?

I've toggled Airplane Mode / Restarted the phone / Reset Network Settings.......any other ideas? It was working fine yesterday.

Wondering what happened to the Bluetooth icon. Phone connects fine, just no icon.
It's been discussed a few times. When the first few betas hit, the consensus was that it was a bug, but now the consensus is that the bluetooth icon is history. Apple assumes more and more are using the watch, wireless headphones, handoff etc and hence just leave bluetooth on all the time. Kind of like they want us to do with wifi.

This also explains the contentious decision to have the wifi and bluetooth buttons in the control panel not actually turn either of them off.

[doublepost=1535373801][/doublepost]Has anyone had any problem with the alarm/timer being extremely quiet with either of the last 2 betas?

Got this message again , but there’s no new version !

Posted previously that my Hey Siri didn’t appear to work any more.
Bit more testing and realised it was only working when on power.
I thought this requirement had gone several versions ago?
Is this a new feature again in IOS12?
It’s on my 1st gen iPad Pro 12.9

Really annoying as was anout to buy several automation devices to control with Siri!

Having issues with CarPlay last few updates. When asking to call someone with (2) numbers, say work and Mobile, it says there is no number, yet its there.
