Aghh! Finally see it again (tried to explain this in a previous forum but couldn’t duplicate it).

Weather widget gives “additional” info. Is this in previous releases?

Force touching songs is much more responsive and accurate, which is a welcome change. For the longest time the app wanted to select the wrong song (to play next or add to a playlist, for example).

Also, you can again force touch the song currently playing when it’s minimized to the bottom. I missed that feature.

Oh wow didn’t even know about the force touch when minimized (but maybe because I didn’t have a device capable until the X).

Nice

Here is a music app bug. A graphical glitch. Not sure uploading video is the right thing to do.

Also, the song name and artist name is a bit separated.

Let me try again...

Anyone having issues with FaceTime video calls cutting out even when you have good WiFi and showing as "poor connection"?
Yes I've had that issue. I've also had a problem where if called by someone else the call won't properly close, and if the same person calls you again (at the other end it looks like the call is over) you are showing as unavailable. The only way I could get out of that was to restart - facetime would not close at all.

Anyone else have this folder/mailbox issue?

When a message is open for reading from the inbox, tapping on the folder icon at the bottom of the screen brings up the screen where you can move it to another mailbox/folder.

The “all mail” mailbox/folder is grayed out.

However from the list view, you can still swipe left, tap on the move icon, and get the same screen. Using this method, the “all mail” mailbox/folder is NOT grayed out and you can move the message from the inbox to the “all mail” folder/mailbox

There is an inconsistency between the WiFi signal strength icon at the top of the screen and the icon within the WiFi section of the settings app. This is a screen shot on an iPhone 8 Plus.

FaceTime has improved with this beta, at least for me. Only issue now is FaceTime calls just drop, even with a great connection. But other party could hear and see me with no issues.

Haven’t seen it mentioned, but having issues using Personal Hotspot and my TomTom Satnav.
Initially it seems to connect as usual, Blue indicator top left comes up, but after a few seconds TomTom shows message Lost Connection to phone...
Anyone else experiencing this?

There was just a new Outlook beta released via TestFlight that has corrected this problem for me. I would expect the fix in the next public release of the app.

Beta 1 was good for me, but I seem to have quite a few random connection issues on beta 2 that are fixed after a reboot. The connection issues seem to relate to the cellular service. I don’t have a method to reproduce it, but thought I’d mention it.

I had the same connection issues and tried a network reset and morning reboot and one or the other/both is working as no more issue.

Yeah that crossed my mind but I thought I’d wait to see if it persists in beta 3 before I do that.

I keep force touching my iPad Air 2 until the screens nearly cracks because I’m used to the feature on my iPhone lol

Haha same setup here! I love the feature so much I didn’t know what I was missing out on (had a 6+ before upgrading). Still holding out to see if Apple will somehow implement a version on the iPad (without having to use an Apple Pencil) so I can upgrade my Air 2.

Fingers crossed.

Mine disconnects randomly with the cable connected! I sure hope beta 3 fixes this and beta 3 comes next week! :)

I know dream on, have to wait 2 weeks for beta 3. :(

Just got an Alpine ILX-F309 installed today and noticed the same thing going into reverse.

Anyone notice in this beta, mail notifications no longer vibrate. If you go into Settings - Mail - Notifications - Sounds, Vibration is set to None (default)
