I was experiencing some lags these last days with the beta 3 on the X, that I didn't before. I was thinking about waiting for the beta 4 and doing a clean install.
But yesterday night I remembered that I had installed Youtube just before they've appeared.
After deleting the Youtube app, the phone got back its super speed and the lags are gone.

Just came across a new bug. 3D Touch on any photo in Apple News and it casuses the app to freeze and the photo to disappear. Happens every time. Must clear app from switcher to use it again. Reported. Will add to wiki.
Yep. Confirmed here too on iPhone 7 Plus.

3D Touch left hand corner opens app over view like double click home button.
Yep not new it’s an alternative way of entering recent apps

What device? What screen? And what do you mean?
His saying he can use force touch to enter the task switcher

What kind of lag were you experiencing?

It does so on iOS 11 as well. Nothing new to iOS 12 and certainly not to beta 3 of it.

Where though? Nothing happens when I press top left of my X

Return the X, there is a fault in your device. :p

Seriously though, that particular gesture is for us mortals who did not get the X and are living with 6s/ 7/ 8 devices.

I‘m very excited about the next betas. I’ve reported a lot to apple in the feedback app and I hope they will fix the problems and write me back. In the past they sometimes wrote me back a year later, lol.

Hi, have a sample size of 2 iPhone 7 running iOS 12. I’ve noticed that iPhone A have problems with screen time where screen time would show up saying that you’ve reached the time limit when I didn’t set any time limit on iPhone A. iPhone B on the other hand doesn’t have any issues that the iPhone A have. Will Restoring (with iTunes) the IPhone A fix the problem that the iPhone A have?

Some help please. I am a tad confused. I used to hard press battery and could easily see what my current usage was as well as time on hold but now I don't know where to find this info. When I press battery I see all of this graphic stuff but not my actual total usage time or on hold time.
Am I in the right place?
Or where do I now go to find this info?
iPhone X on iOS 12 public beta 2
Thanks

Welcome to Apple's new way.

Having an issue with synching my X on iOS 12 PB 2 with my Apple Watch on watchOS 4.3.2. Messages and contacts will not sync to the watch and none of the other remedies are working, (e.g. Reset Sync Data, unpairing/pairing, etc).

Just tried Apple pay, didn't work. It has worked in same store many times. Problem with developer beta or something else?
For me, double clicking the side button refuses to show my cards and the Apple Pay sheet doesn’t ever come up. Even with App Store purchases the sheet won’t appear.

Edit: Restarted the device and it seems to be working. I’ll update if that changes...

I‘ve reported that to apple bc the usage which it shows now is ********. It was much better before.

It‘s 1:26pm here and haven’t charged the battery over night. Now I have 68%. The battery usage shows me 44 minutes usage and 0 minutes Display off. If they are the usage times from 0am to 23:59pm it’s wrong too. But how I’ve said, it was better before and reported that to apple

Anyone using iOS 12 on an iPad Pro (10.5” here) noticing funkiness with handwritten note taking in the built in notes app? I had a line to write notes and the touch mechanism seems very finicky, like palm rejection going haywire so while I just lift the pencil off the screen to go to the next line, etc, it triggers a select (like as if I’m initiating a drag and drop). Driving me bonkers and don’t recall it being like this before?

I’ve been on android for the past week playing with the new os “P”. But now back on my iPhone 7 and I noticed my calendar icon is completely AWOL.

Haven't been following but is iMessage messed up for anyone else? There are a lot of times where I would send a message and it gets stuck. I need to close the app, reopen and resend the text for it to deliver.

I also get messages from people pop up in my notification but then when I open iMessage the message isn't there. It requires me to fully close the app and reopen it.

Is this common? I've been getting it every day.

I also see "Downloading messages from iCloud" throughout the day. Is there a way to disable this?
