Why are they removing the battery API? Is it due to the better built in battery monitoring?

Now that the API was ever that useful anyway.

I've been itching to try again, but my HomePod immediately disconnected on beta 2. Did anyone else experience similar issues? Is there a workaround or is it fixed? Tough to identify the problem here, I know. Thanks all.

I so hope I get my broken wifi back with this version. Roll on PB please

Not sure how you can still claim "planned obsolesce" after seeing how well iOS 12 runs on iPhone 5s.

There will always be those who feel their devices went slower, and not understand that this is because of the added feature set of the new OS update. iOS 12 has done a lot to clean up the code base and it shows, but there is no satisfaction because somehow A7 is slower than A11 flagship.
