I have no idea why they would remove your personalized backgrounds in the Home app. What a terrible decision, I hope that doesn't last.

They didn‘t remove personalized backgrounds. You can still use your own backgrounds and if you don‘t change the background to the new ones it still displays the old ones.

Thanks for that! I wasn't sure if that were the case or not as I am not on the beta. Good to know though, appreciate it.

Anyone else got the red 1 badge on their Settings icon, but can't find anything in settings that needs attention? Got this on my 8 Plus.

Had it on my 10.5 iPad Pro, but when I went into settings it had a badge saying I needed to sign into some services again. When I did that it went away. Nothing similar on my phone :(

I had that badge on settings appear to me, the only way to remove it is to have the settings app send you another notification somehow or restore from backup.

Is it normal that I don’t get the haptic feedback when trying to open app drawer without any apps opened? o_O wasn’t there in b5 either..

I get it on a 7+, though it is very slight.

Nothing on the X.. strange..

Haven't updated yet. Beta 5 has a very slight haptic feedback for me, iPhone X, no apps open.

Errrr what? Can you be a bit more specific?

Try this, if this is kinda of what you're talking about.

under settings>safari>advanced>website data: Remove All website data at the bottom.
The "Clear History and Website data" is apparently not the same. I'd recommend doing both though.

The pop-up you might be seeing is probably from a corrupted website you may have visited; stuck in your history.
it's like the dumb amazon pop-up, "Congratulations, Amazon.com user! You've been selected for a chance to get the $1000 Amazon Gift Card..."

Weird... I can't update my apps on Beta 5 and I can't seem to update to Beta 6, it says it failed looking for an update. On iTunes it says I'm on the most recent version of iOS.

Do anyone knows what to do?

Thanks :)

Well it seems they took care of the issue where if I had my AirPods connected, it wouldn't play on them by default. I had to manually switch the output. Waiting to see if the respring while using messages bug is gone. It happens once every day or so. Never goes more than two days without a respring.

WTF huge bugs on this beta, go to setting then safari and the phone locks up and goes crazy also load of major crashes using setting plz can others check go to setting and safari and let me know

Settings -> Safari seems fine.

It is possible the numbers could be UUID numbers of deleted apps. Have you deleted any apps recently?
Not recently that I can think of but I am thinking that may possibly be the issue too. I mentioned maybe a reset all settings may resolve but thinking I may wait and see if others had the issue. So far no one has. My iPad is fine as well.

After installing the beta, only 3 apps showed up on mines. After a few minutes, more apps showed up so maybe check again to see if it cleared up.

Me and my girlfriends phones both X and iphone 7 both everytime we go setting and click calender or safari it goes black and major crashes

Same here. Have tried Calendar and Safari, screen goes black. Closing App and reopening doesn‘t work immediately. It takes some time before it loads again.

Edit: Siri & Search, Mail, Contacts, Maps, Photos, Books, Podcasts and any 3rd Party App as well.

Edit 2: as @CamiMR pointed out:

  • Settings might unexpectedly quit when attempting to open Siri & Search settings if FaceTime, Mail, Maps, or Voice Memos have been uninstalled. If this is happening, Apple suggests installing the missing apps.
