One thing I have noticed is that my personal hotspot has disappeared on my MacBook Pro.

If I open personal hotspot in the settings and then open the WiFi on my MBP after about 10 secs my phone shows as a WiFi network, not a hotspot.

Before this update it would show as a hotspot pretty much instantly. Even if my phone was locked in my pocket

Tried restarting both devices and nothing working.

No, you’re wrong. There are ”you” and a couple of others in this thread complaining after 5 minutes. That doesn’t constitute ”MANY” people.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Take a look at twitter, particularly developers.

There is no reason anyone should take a chance installing until there’s clarification.

My iphone 7 fortunately is working very well indeed with non of the lagginess that is being reported. All apps open quickly as before. And this right out of the gate from the install. Very pleased so far, but still checking it out.

It’s still extremely early, but this beta on my iPhone X feels near-perfect.

I’m afraid to do a hard restart at any point, though - don’t wanna jinx it!

My iPad Pro didn't have any slow down issues, my X was slow for about the first minute but is fine now, fairly huge version number increase for the modem firmware on my Intel modem X, up to 2.00.01 now.

This beta feels very fast, smooth and solid on my iPhone X (I only have a small amount of apps installed to keep my phone as smooth as possible without incompatibilities).

I have never seen Safari as fast and smooth as in this build—wonderful!

Seems like for the most part, those experiencing the slowdown wait 10-15 minutes after the upgrade and it sorts itself out. Must be doing some serious indexing upon boot up.

iPhone 7 here and couldn't agree more. Best beta yet IMO. Sorry so many are having issues, hope they straighten out in time.

My phone (iPhone X) is extremely laggy.

Apps taking around 7-8 secs just to open, text input freezes.

I’ve tried rebooting the phone twice and I installed via ipsw on iTunes.

So far my impression is these betas are gradually regressing and not improving.
Go into your photos and see if it says “restoring” at the bottom

Every time I’ve done and update to iOS 11 I’ve had lag for awhile and it’s because all my photos were “restoring”. After that process was over everything was fine again.
