Just curious, is anyone else’s Smart Keyboard not working in the iOS 12 betas? If not, looks like I may to replace mine
I have no fact to support my opinion but it doesn’t sound logical that the GM is already complete. The GM is probably already complete. So, you’re likely correct.
They gotta get that GM flashed onto the new iPhone by at least the first week of September and shipped from China to the rest of the world. I would say that they have another week tops before it’s gotta be done internallyI have no fact to support my opinion but it doesn’t sound logical that the GM is already complete.

Is it me or after upgrading, the wallpaper or screen looks brighter?
Just wanna make sure it’s not this beta before I rip my network a new butt!
Has anyone had issue with no signal?
Reset phone reset network stuff.
I had this a couple of days ago (I’m on T-Mobile). It went to “searching” when I came home from a walk while talking on the phone; almost seemed to me like it was confused about getting back on WiFi. Turning airplane mode on and off didn’t work. Rebooted phone and it searched and then went to “no signal”, and again no luck with toggling airplane mode. Finally came back on second reboot.

Agree with this. I've found I will drop calls if I don't reboot once in a while. Never did this before. So now a daily reboot which is not a bad idea anyway seems to have solved my drop issue for now anyway. Verizon network.Apple seems to have been doing a lot of tweaking with the radios for iOS 12. Phone calls have been an issue, as has the GPS at times.
They moved it unfortunately. Tap the three dots ... and it is an option in there.I submitted feedback for a FaceTime bug today. FaceTime worked on my 6s today, except that I couldn’t switch to the rear camera. There is no camera icon and tapping the PIP doesn’t do anything.
Thank you for answering this so quickly! Now I can stop obsessing about this LOL.They moved it unfortunately. Tap the three dots ... and it is an option in there.
I thought it‘s common knowledge that by the time beta 1 ships Apple is already on beta 3 up internally. Most of the release day phones ship direct from China the week prior to delivery - which is typically the week following the "available for pre-order" date (Thursday night/Friday morning at midnight, PDT)... so there's very little stock around the world in advance of the delivery date... there's no way GM is done yet... will be at least another week.
Report your issue to Apple... that's the point of the beta releases.
Working fine hereJust curious, is anyone else’s Smart Keyboard not working in the iOS 12 betas? If not, looks like I may to replace mine
guys, sorry to bump this up again.I'm still unable to log-in to my App Store account. However, my apps still update... only the Google Chrome app doesn't update. Anyone else experiencing this?
What were you doing when your phone crashed? I haven't had a respring since beta 2.For the first time since my 3GS Jailbreaking days, I decided to mess with the purity of my daily driver and went for the PB6 this weekend. After an excruciatingly long encrypted backup to my Mac, all went smoothly. So far so good. It really does not feel like pre-production software.
The only thing I'm a little worried about is whether my Exchange notifications are reliably coming through-- which is important given it's my work. Trying to monitor whether that's a real or perceived issue.
Otherwise, my key apps including the stock apps, WSJ, NYTimes, Overcast, August, Ring, Netflix (including downloads), Tivo, Notability, etc. all work fine.
Of course, literally as I write this, I did get a springboard crash -- my first. But I was still getting those in 11.4.1.
Also, I do appreciate the second FaceID view. I have done a second scan from a bit of a different angle and it seems to have helped improve the hit rate.
I haven't had any show-stopping App Store issues. In the beginning of the beta cycle I remember my purchase history was missing so apps I had purchased in the past were showing prices again. When I went to install them and hit that price button, it told me it was free because I had purchased a previous version. That was resolved by the second or third beta though.guys, sorry to bump this up again.

I also have not read about this before today. I would suggest signing out of your account in all locations (phone, iPad, Mac, etc.) and then signing back in. If you've done that then I don't know what else to tell ya.
Strange. Banking apps have been a major issue throughout this cycle. Mine wouldn't even open for the first two betas, if I'm remembering correctly. To answer about the springboard crash, my banking app made me reauthorize the FaceID authentication. Upon toggling FaceID back on and closing out of the dialogue, the springboard crashed. That app is functioning normally after the respring, by the way.
I think manually overriding has an immediate effect but doesn’t produce long term drastic effects - only small ones as the auto brightness algorithm takes on board your preferences. OP referred to quite erratic bahaviour. Not sure if this is a bug or an intentional override (manual over auto brightness), as I remember it behaving in exactly the same way in iOS 10-11?

Makes sense to me that the GM is already done.
