I thought it‘s common knowledge that by the time beta 1 ships Apple is already on beta 3 up internally.
Makes sense to me that the GM is already done.
I think assuming anything is "common knowledge" is presumptuous at best, elitist more often. Everybody has different experiences and interests and somebody who doesn't spend their free time reading Apple forums coming here to ask a question is not likely to have the "common knowledge" you're referencing.

Strange. Banking apps have been a major issue throughout this cycle. Mine wouldn't even open for the first two betas, if I'm remembering correctly.

FYI. Had a second springboard crash in quickly toggling between apps. Went to tap on an email in the Mail app and that triggered it. Again, a relatively swift recovery thereafter...

Airdrop and handoff not working here, anybody else have this issue? I logged off and on back again from iCloud in my iPhone. Macbook Pro 15 2017 with the latest official build running...

Agree with this. I've found I will drop calls if I don't reboot once in a while. Never did this before. So now a daily reboot which is not a bad idea anyway seems to have solved my drop issue for now anyway. Verizon network.
Edit, and so far this has only happened at home where I have wifi. So maybe there's a connection there or rather lack of LOL

I noticed this with Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi calling as well.

If thats the case then why did they ship a broken beta 7 and pull it hours later only to release a beta 8 two days later with the fix? While I agree they are ahead internally (and that seems to be common knowledge), there is no way they would be on a GM quality release internally and ship a broken beta 7 and turn around and ship beta 8 with the fix two days later then ship another beta three days after that. Just doesn't seem logical.

Guys,I’m playing around with iOS 12 today and am trying to use Siri whilst my iPad Air 2 is locked. But Siri doesn’t activate. I’ve turned it on in Siri settings and in passcode and password settings to turn on when locked. Any suggestions please?

Edit: I forgot to mention, I mean trying to activate Siri without pressing the Home button. Or is this not possible?

can anyone help me? My update screen won't start downloading. Already tried setting up as new :(

What were you doing when your phone crashed? I haven't had a respring since beta 2.

I haven't had any show-stopping App Store issues. In the beginning of the beta cycle I remember my purchase history was missing so apps I had purchased in the past were showing prices again. When I went to install them and hit that price button, it told me it was free because I had purchased a previous version. That was resolved by the second or third beta though.

I also have not read about this before today. I would suggest signing out of your account in all locations (phone, iPad, Mac, etc.) and then signing back in. If you've done that then I don't know what else to tell ya.
Thanks mate. I sortes it by deleting the app and reinstalling.
