Buttery smooth and super snappy on my X. But I feel like I have to press extra hard on my keyboard to move the cursor. o_O Anyone else experiencing this?
It’s especially very bad when you type something and have to use the cursor immediately after you type, then you get like a 2 sec delay......anybody with the same experience? Since beta 7/8

I’m running iOS 12 on my 6s plus and so far been impressed with how quick it is, even opening apps faster than my 8 plus on iOS 11

I might finally switch my main one over to 12 because I am definitely not impressed with the stability of iOS 11

This is big file!

What I don’t understand is why the same issues have remained from beta 1 to beta 9? All the issues under “remaining issues” have been there and haven’t changed. These issues apart from the HomeKit issues don’t really affect me so I don’t care but I don’t understand why Apple isn’t fixing them considering we are at Beta 9. Surely they must be getting reported to Apple...

Bug where text replacement doesn’t work in Safari username fields is still present :(

MacRumors isn't Apple's bug tracker?

Have you encountered them, and if so, have you reported them to Apple?

Even if they have been reported, it doesn't mean Apple can reproduce them. Even if they can, it doesn't mean they can easily fix them. And even if they can, it doesn't follow that they'll fix it in the 12.0 release cycle. There are plenty of other fish to fry.

Finally pulled the trigger and put iOS 12 on my ip8+

So much snappier than iOS 11 and I had nothing issues anyways with stability so figured I didn’t have much to lose lol

have you enabled night shift or true tone?

I saw these posts and updated right after and did a comparison and I am actually seeing this as well. It's slight but noticeable and I do not use night shift or true tone. They are both disabled. I hate the warmer look.

As per my initial message I stated “none of the issues apart from the HomeKit issues affect me” so I don’t know why you asked me that when I already mentioned it.

In relation to whether I have reported that issue to Apple the answer is yes, on about 2-3 occasions as the beta progressed and the issue remained. More than happy to provide screenshots.

In relation to macrumours being a beta tracker I would have to disagree. This is the exact reason I come back to this site and have come back to the site since I joined back on iOS 8. It’s a forum for people to explain what issues they are having and to share if that bug is also being experienced by others and to track whether it has remained or been fixed hence why there there is headings such as “resolved issues” and “remaining issues”. Since I have been on macrumours this thread has always updated me when a bug is fixed or when a new bug has popped up etc so I don’t know what you mean by macrumours not being a beta tracker.

Interesting. I think the other poster said it went after a restart but can’t remember now. Definitely worth reporting! As a workaround it would be worth trying a restart.

Did this fix your warm screen issue too?

Yes, but that's completely orthogonal to the expectation that Apple frequents this forum. They may, and they may not. They already have a bugtracker.

What I mean is that if a bug is important to you, you should report it to Apple, not hope for Apple to look at this place. Your original post makes it sound like you were expecting the latter, and you originally made no mention of having reported anything yourself.

No, I have been a subscriber here long enough to know that Apple has no care about what we write on these forums and I believe this is a community for us to share between ourselves and see how widespread an issue is etc

What I was trying to get at is that obviously these are significant issues to people considering they have been found by macrumours members and have been remaining stagnant on the “remaining issues” column and I was just wondering why they hadn’t been fixed by Apple yet. But as you stated, the most likely reason is because they either haven’t been reported to Apple or Apple has bigger issues than these to worry about.

I submitted feedback, but I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just something that bothers me. When I use 3D Touch in messages, the messages app bar goes black. It just looks weird and the transition to black is jarring. Is anyone else noticing this? I have an iPhone 7.
