So if you don’t allow access to Siri when locked, this doesn’t work because you can’t enable voice-over, right?

4 minutes of work to check some contacts and maybe a photo. Who the hell finds this stuff? I wouldn’t necessarily call this a “bypass”. You are still extremely limited. A bug, sure. A huge security issue, not in my opinion.
Well, I suspect the concern is “if you got here and weren’t supposed to, how much farther can you go with more effort?”

Anybody having apps freezing when opening them , like it takes couple seconds for them to respond

This has happened to me a couple times in the last 24 hours. Prior to that, I hadn’t experienced it. It feels like iOS 12 is mad at me for posting about the bugs I’m finding.

Ever since the latest update, whenever the iphone is turned off, when it is turned back on again, the phone reverts to non-low-power mode so it is necessary to change it to low-power mode every time the phone is turned back on. This did not happen before the current update. Is there a fix to this? Thanks.

Hi.
Is anyone missing Battery widget at all on XS or XS Max. I go to widget screen , click edit and its not there in the list at all. IOS12 not beta.

No. This is how it is supposed to work.

The battery health feature is not working well.

I’ve updated my dads iPhone 6s. With iOS 11 the app battery health showed 78%, that’s only 1100 from 1715 mah. And yes, it’s battery life is worse. Apple settings still show 100%. Updated it to iOS 12 and still 100%

Based on?

1) iEven just plugging your phone in turns it off. It's always been this way.
2) Power cycling the device is supposed to return the phone to normal operation. People saw the yellow battery indicator, didn't know what it was, and when rebooting/power cycling doesn't fix it Apple has to deal with a support call.
3) Low power mode is not at all intended to be the normal mode of operation for the device. It's a temporary stopgap, and it's designed to be easy to get out of. You aren't supposed to turn your phone off when you don't plan on using it for a short time. You aren't supposed to put it in low power mode just because you feel like hypermiling it or you have some paranoid delusion that doing so prevents The Man from surreptitiously receiving your precious packets. You posted the same question in another thread and everyone told you you were wrong there, too, so give it up.

Plugging the decide in doesn't turn it off until it reaches a particular acceptable level of charge, which is 80% to be exact. The rest of it basically just sounds more along the lines of assumptions and personal preferences. (Not sure where the rest of the conspiratorial delusions and unnecessary passive aggressiveness at the end there are coming from.)

Is anybody having issues loading certain website images on iPhone XS Max? Some images on overstock and ikea won’t load at all. It’s weird. I’ve tried resetting the phone but it didn’t work.

I just tried going to Ikea on my Max to see and it won't load. I'm on wifi. Hmmmmm

Anyone getting this spinning thing instead of the battery info?
Also, why does ‘hey Siri’ keep stopping? Am having to keep rebooting to get it to work.
Is it because I’m using an Apple Watch as well?
