I can’t be the only person that this annoys...

No, it's pretty irritating when the page is slow to load. Lack of visible feedback makes it look/feel broken too.

Here’s my biggest problem with iOS... and I hope it’s fixed with iOS 12!
With safari.. when you swipe back. You have to wait for it to “load” before it lets you start scrolling... im praying that this is fixed.. I think this started around iOS 7 - iOS 8. This wasn’t always the case
I have the same problem on my iPhone with iOS 11.4 and iPad iOS 12. It takes seconds of time until you can scroll and sometimes you are on the top of the site

FWIW, for me, Geekbench compute scores continue to get worse with beta 3. With beta 1 my phone was way above average, with beta 2 it got closer to average, and now it's slightly below average.

Battery life is definitely worse than it was on iOS 11. I have an iPad Pro and generally it lasts me about 13 to 15 hours of screen on use. i’ll use it almost an entire shift at work scanning documents and making calls, and go home and have it sitting there on to text and change music. After upgrading to iOS 12 beta, it used up 15% in 45 minutes. Facebook messenger was the cause.

That being said, EVERYTHING else is flawless. It looks like a final release to me. My geekbench score went up by 100 points to 9530. Going to send feedback on the battery life.

what iOS version was you on previously?

Is Apple focusing on fixing the battery drain or no?

I’m wondering if the iPad Pro has a software bug in iOS 11 with screen responsiveness being sometimes it doesn’t register touches I’m hoping iOS 12 will fix this I might try next beta to see if it does fix this

My Air 2 is sooooo much more usable now with iOS 12. System animations hardly lag at this point and pressing "Update all" in the App Store no longer causes it to freeze. Under iOS 11, I'd usually have to do a hard reset on it one or twice a week to get the thing to respond again. In the month of having iOS 12 on it, I think I may have only done it twice. Pretty good improvement for whats still beta software. I can't vouch for any battery life improvements because my Air 2 only have 70%ish of its maximum capacity (its a four year old battery) so my battery life is still weak.

Known hardware issue with iPad Pro. You’ll need to get it replaced.
