so they fixed cellular on xs max lets see if its any diff that beta 5 which is still bad

Looks like they added the anti shutdown battery software changes to the 8, 8 Plus and X now.
That’s interesting. When battery gate was initially going down they said on the battery page that the iPhone 8,8 Plus and X had a better advanced power management than previous iPhones and were less likely to have the issue. Guess they are retracting.

What’s the benefit of that feature? I’m on an iPhone x
Just means if your battery is depleted, which it won't be yet, that you won't get random shutdowns at say 30% battery, like what use to happen before Apple put in the battery 'fixes'

Well, less likely still means that it can happen and thus they still added measures to deal with it if it might happen (even if more rarely).
