Thought so. So no chance of getting .2 before the new year as that will run for a fair few betas and it’s only 7 weeks till the new year and we still need 12.1.1
Need to re-read that. Dec 2 and Dec 12 is before Christmas and the new year. :) So yes its certainly possible.

In the previous years it seems like that was the case. But things have been a bit different this year. Nevertheless, it's certainly possible of course, not so much based on previous years as much as it's just something that's possible.

Those years didn’t include betas for 1x.1.1. It went directly to 1x.2 beta. So that will inevitably delay 12.2 in comparison to 10.2 and 11.2.

Not talking about betas. But iOS 11.1 was released on 10/31, then 11.1.1 was 11/9 and 11.1.2 was 11/16 then 11.2 dropped on 12/2. So based on that, yeah it is possible :)

Same with iOS 10.1 (10/24) then 10.1.1 (10/31) and finally 10.2 (12/12)

Not that I am saying there WILL be but the question was is it possible and the answer is, yes it is.

But your argument is not accounting for the time of an entire extra beta cycle that we have here. This had not previously happened. To finish 12.1.1 beta cycle and release to public, and run through the entire 12.2 beta cycle before the new year is not realistically possible. All the above X.x.x releases that you mention did not have beta cycles.

I “think” iOS 12.1.1 will be released this week. :) why? Because the US and Bell Canada supposedly said they will support eSim on November 16th.

Who knows thou?
Couldn’t that just be a carrier update? Everything is built into 12.1 already, no?
