I'm pretty sure those responsible for writing an article (or pushing a button to publish) are not the ones pushing out software updates. Besides, its highly unlikely that article was written today or even in the last couple of days.

Planning automated release is normal in the news/articles world... And furthermore, they won't have support calls for an article, while any software update is guaranteed to surge the support requests. (most of their support is probably overseas or not in the US anyway)

Received many updates for apps today. I’ve seen that before on the eve of an update in an iOS version. So one more possible pointer to an update tomorrow or Wednesday.

I noticed the same thing as well. I had 16 apps with an update including Netflix.

I would have to agree with @gwhizkids speculation that tomorrow is the day .. I also received numerous updates today and I only have 20 apps at the max and over half got an update today .. Good call....

Cellular service on verizon is significantly improved for me on Max. Otherwise it’s excellent performing as the last few releases have been.
