Pretty sure "later in the week" is not written in stone. They will release the fix when it is deemed ready to be released, not because the calendar shows a certain date.

Here in Europe it is even tougher on NFL fans. The game starts at 0:30 am cet...

Of course it was a joke, Apple would hardly let it affect anything. But a few of us are a bit tired on monday

I think Thursday or Friday. Apple said they need more time and will release it “next week”. I can’t see why they would not use the full week to their fullest. This is a huge bruise to the king of privacy. I see them wanting to make sure they get this right.
