Given the apparently very limited beta test, that's probably still a good prediction (right now).
I completely disagree. It is available right this minute. Limited is still available. Saying not till GM is entirely inaccurate.

I'm sure it was changed specifically to discredit this leaker and make us think the rest of his "predictions" will be false as well.

LOL! I wouldn't go THAT far (But I think some here would put on their tinfoil hats and a actually believe that) but I DO think, if they were working on something, and hit moment where they need more input, I believe whole heartedly they would sway from the original plan in a instant. I'm not saying that guy was legit, and this is not the best argument to discredit him with. We'll see if he's right on the 18 day time frame now. So far, he's good with GPS fix (easy to guess) and told everyone this holiday schedule didn't mean squat, which it didn't. He may have been who he said he was. If for any other reason, I wish he was un suspended, as his posts were more interesting to read than half here at times. It was fun for a few hours. haha

You know, iOS 13 is probably "available" too - to someone that Apple chooses to make it available to. The difference is whether the user chooses to get something (available) or Apple chooses who gets it (not really available).

And that's where I'm leaving it.

No, no, no and no. Sorry that argument makes absolutely zero sense. The “leaker” said it won’t be available to developers until the GM. That is now 100% inaccurate as developers have access to it. Anyone with a developer account can apply for the app, no one but Apple can run iOS 13. Huge difference.

Some points to clarify.

Shortcuts app will be added only to GM as as a bundled app and after that in the official Ios12 release. The testflight path was a very last minute thing. It wasn't ready for beta actually.

18 days minimum. Actually more than that, probably closer to 21 days. Very few betas this time because it's a very different kinda update this year.

A lot of features and design changes that were supposed to be included in this year's were moved over to Ios13 for various internal disagreements. This is largely due to the overseas markets including China (Also board pressure) since many Iphones get sold there and we need to cater to their likings since the biggest market share is there. Not in US as many belief.

However next year will be the biggest and most exciting makeover on Ios ever made.

This year's is just so much smaller and really focussed on under the hood stuff to prepare for the next Iphone lineup and insane Ipad's that are coming out this year. to do some real magical things. (Hint AR) ( In a Mad way!)

If you have read this far before this account being bumped off then congrats. If this account stays active I might share some future details and exact dates for next beta release.

Enjoy the ride folks

One more thing: "Hologram Communication" We're about 2 Iphones away from that:)

Bad grammar, 98% information that has already been covered, 1% safe assumptions, 1% made up fact that can't be verified for 2 years.... seems legit

Yes, because Apple has NEVER changed their minds on the fly... :D

JC, if you would only get a glimpse of the inner workings.
[doublepost=1530822539][/doublepost]
Didn’t the “leaker” say no shortcuts app until GM?
"

"Leaker" That doesn't sound very cute does it? Can't you folks come up with something a little more charming?

Yeah several releases are already out and being build and developed for phones that only come out 4-5 years from now. But other companies with other products do exactly the same. That's how the market works. Everything goes in steps, if the latest and greatest gets released right away then that takes market potential away. Incremental steps is where the money lies. People are used to that also.

With all the opinions being thrown about surrounding Apple’s corporate holiday schedule or the significance of a GPS issue and it’s legality affecting beta release schedules it’s surprising that someone who posts something more interesting, whether true or not, gets hated on.

I’m personally more than happy to hear your musings <insert new username>.

So as we all know unlike the past when your UDID had to be specifically registered with Apple’s Dev program and you had to be an authorized Developer to get iPSW files and to activate a device with beta software nowadays people just download uploaded profiles and rogue test. So in terms of the Shortcuts App thing that was announced today it seems like it would be impossible to get it in that manner since they are only selectively granting it to developers correct?

It’s done through TestFlight and there’s a unique code you have to redeem so yep, unless you’re a Dev you’re not getting this. At least not yet.

Now your just nitpicking. Only developers get the GM, thus it won’t be available to developers until the GM.
Um coming from the best nitpicker here I take that as a compliment :)
But the post he responded to said nothing about being a developer. More general as anyone testing beta. But not really on topic and really doesn't matter. Still fun to read his speculations that so far were basically correct. More so than Apple being closed all week and thus not releasing any betas until next week. ;)

I’m confused. Only developers can get the GM, that means only developers would be able to get the shortcuts app in the GM. The GM is not released for public beta testers. So how is my statement not correct? o_O Oh well, like you said I guess it doesn’t matter. But I still think the “leaker” is full of nonsense.
