I wonder if its an app issue. This morning after 30 minutes of taking off charger, and not being used, I finally opened phone and it was down to 97%. Never has done that. I had the Roku app still open from the night before (although suspended) so force closed it and charged back up. Been fine every since. It was several hours later and was still on 100% (on stdby of course). I typically close that app after using it because it can run audio when in background. So wondering if other apps similar may be the cause of this random drain that happens out of the blue.
That is a good thought. I will close apps and see if that changes anything. Thanks

Beta 3 and WatchOS beta have really started dragging their figurative feet for me. Any chance of a beta 4 today since 11.4.1 dropped yesterday?

Hopefully there are enough Apple staff annoyed by the contact sync issue that they release it today

LOL, they're all probably 2-3 betas ahead of us. Old news for them!

I'd say 30% we get it today, but more likely next Mon-Tues. or possibly even later if the "Leaker" is correct about 18 days.

Oh I was just being optimistic, but realistically I know its more likely next week

Now that 11.4.1 is out, I think we could see beta 4 released on Monday next week rather than Tuesday as the day has now been freed up. Thoughts guys ?

Nah. My wife is still on 11.4/Watch OS 4 and I don't know anybody else in the real world that has any interest in beta testing for Apple.
LOL.

That is one feature I have zero interest in, both because no one else in my family has one and because I just envision this as the Sprint PTT feature (BEE-BOOP....).

Right! That's about the only thing MORE irritating than somebody talking on speakerphone in public. So glad that went away.

Have you been able to try the walkie talkie part of the watch? I'm wondering if it seems useful or gimmicky...

I managed to convince my girlfriend to get the betas. We tried Walkie-Talkie. It’s okay I guess. A lot better with Bluetooth headphones. It feels like a phone call except that only one person can talk at a time which feels weird and kind of unnatural.

Giving the ubiquity of cell phones, I can only see a use for them if they were watch to watch in an area with no cell service (like a cruise ship) but I was wondering how well it was executed

With the App Store issues I’ve been having (particularly the “no purchases” error), I was really hoping for a new PB today. Oh well, maybe next week...

Hope the next public beta gets the shortcuts app, I’d like to play around with it.
Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the beta. Right now, paid developers can request it from Apple (via TestFlight) and then its up to Apple. That doesn't mean it won't be available to test later this summer for public beta members, but not sure how they'll do that since it seems to not be part of the stock app package (Stocks, Weather, Reminders, Notes, etc...) but a downloadable app.

In the meantime, download Workflow. That gets you most of what Shortcuts can do (right now). If you learn Workflow, you'll know Shortcuts right out of the box.
