yes every once in a while airplane mode for a bit worked for me.... but more often than not I have to do a hard reset. which carrier do you have? I have T-Mobile and i am wondering if it has anything to do with that

At&t and same issue. And typically only at two or three places I frequent. I thought it was an issue with the WiFi at th bookstore I work at.
Remember if that so-called "leaker" was right, we wouldn't see it before Saturday. 18+ days.
It happens to me when I'm coming off the wifi at work. very peculiar little bug.

Surely hope that was fake, but may be true, so we might see a 3 weeks gap bringing beta 4 to next week only
I highly doubt it was true. The gap between betas drop as time goes on, not increase. Only the final beta -> GM has the long waiting time.
If the so called "leaker" has some inside knowledge we are still possibly another week away.. Which I highly doubt but only time will tell .. I'm going with Tuesday like others have mentioned..

I clearly hope you're right. But as he said, iOS 12 had to shift from what was initially planned, so I expect the unexpected.
He said that beta 5 would be the GM. That has never happened before, one, that there are only 5 betas including the GM for X.0 and two, that the final beta is the GM. He also said that shortcuts would be unavailable until the GM, which is also inaccurate.
Personally, too many things didn't add up. I expect the new beta tomorrow.
Not saying he was or wasn't legit, just saying that plans do change, especially with Apple. They change up to the very minute, so even IF he was legit, you can't take any schedule to heart, as anything could shift to a plan B.
Sometimes things have gotten weird around Beta 4 and Beta 5 in terms of timing if you check out release history (iOS 10 and prior)

I’ve got same issue bud. I have to keep power cycling. I’m on AT&T. It’s like my phone will do nothing even over LTE until I soft reset. Very annoying.
