iOS 12.x.x Speculation Thread [Merged]

And I'm over here just wanting the Shortcuts app!
At this time last year, iOS 11 beta had much more issues than current iOS 12 beta.
I have a strong feeling that iOS 12 will be a very solid iOS from the beginning and stay that way until iOS 13 is released 2019.

Perhaps because “beta 2” was released today. Not sure, though, if anyone got an invite who didn’t before.

I do feel badly for you on this. Have no idea how they chose who did/did not get invites. Nor why they are limiting it. Maybe they are stress testing Siri’s servers to see how much extra load there is.
No. You’ll get the public release a few days early. Then you’ll just have it. When the next beta comes out you can choose whether or not to download it.
I remember being astonished at how bad iOS 11 was during beta last year. Thankfully, iOS 12 has been leaps and bounds better. The only issues that I’ve been having is iMessage syncing and some odd behavior with screentime. Other than that this has been a really solid update.
I put 12 on my 8PLUS and my iPad. Very stable, quicker, and smooth. Way better than 11.
