What iPhone model do you have? The Beta 5 on iPhone X 256GB has been quite good. Stable with a few bugs, the phone did restart a couple of times when using certain Apps but other than that it has been fantastic. But of course I can't speak for everyone, but the general consensus seems to be its fairly stable. Beta 6 ought to be even better.
Same as you. I reverted to 11.4 for the jailbreak but I got tired of all of the instability that came with that so I just restored to the latest release version. 11.4.1 is rock solid and there's really nothing in 12 that interests me so I'm happy where I'm at for the time being.

Fair enough. I no longer Jailbreak my iPhones myself. I don't find much benefit to it like there use to be.

This beta cycle has been the best iOS betas in iOS history as far as stability/performance/battery life/etc. Just think how smooth iOS 12 will be around 12.2-12.3... iOS 12 will become the new gold standard for iOS software when it’s all said and done.

Agreed.

Ok, I was hoping for something a little different than Workflow. I've used that App ever since it was released, but to be honest I rarely use any workflows, just a few now and again. But I have setup a few Shortcuts already using Workflow and they have preform quite well. The only thing I don't like about Workflow is when you trigger a workflow the app opens and runs the workflow. I'd love to see tasks be preform behind the scenes, if you get what I mean.
Right, but I can tell you from personal experience, Shortcuts is just like Workflow. Shortcuts run exactly the same way Workflows do: stepping through each step in the process. That may change, but for now its exactly the same way. If you don't believe this, check out this tweet from one of the Workflow team: https://twitter.com/mattcassinelli/status/1022998764313665536

My main point here: don't get hung up on the fact that you do not have access to the Shortcuts app yet. If you perfect your skills in Workflow, you'll move right over without any hesitation when the Shortcuts app is released.

If you think you're missing the cool things demoed on stage at WWDC, you're not. Those things will not be possible until all apps are updated to the iOS 12 API and (most importantly) the app developers code in the necessary steps to "donate" intents (i.e., make discrete app actions available).

ahh, I see. Thanks for the information. I do look forward to seeing what people come up with in the future when all you have listed is available. It actually makes me want to purchase a Homepod, apparently I read somewhere we'll be able to ask SIRI on a Homepod to run Shortcut commands. Thanks again ;-)

Happy to help! I've been on the outside of things like this and just wanted to assure you that you really are not missing anything yet. Future betas of Shortcuts could change that, but we're only a month away from the iOS 12 release, so not much time in any event until everyone has it.

Haha nope i haven't been. Just came on to see if it was mentioned. Am i that far out of the loop or is it all baseless predictions?
Lead editor said on Twitter it’s not speculative, suggesting they had a tip.

But yeah we’ve been speculating that as likely in here based on last year’s pattern. Been other suggestions too but been considered a good possibility.

Beta 5 has been so great for me so far that I'm almost a little scared of Beta 6 potentially breaking something.

Beta 6 today boys!!

"boys" being the keyword here, with the excitement and number of posts for an iterative beta.

PS. I am excited too. :p
[doublepost=1533574435][/doublepost]How many of you feel that on a remote whim, Apple sees this thread and to troll us, doesn't flip the switch today, instead releasing it tomorrow? :D
