please list all the bugs and how we can replicate them on our devices...I await your response

Not all my bugs can be replicated... however...

- iPhone X: Select a Live Wallpaper, the Live Wallpaper is fully expanded which gives no room for parallax (perspective zoom doesn’t work).

- Traffic info keeps disabling every reset

- Camera, Phone, and the FaceTime app disappear from App Switcher after reset

- CarPlay notoriously crashes and haven’t gotten any stability improvements whatsoever

- Now Playing in the Music/Podcast app would frequently show a blurred album cover even though it appears fine in thumbnail mode (same can be said vice versa)

- App Store will sometimes say ‘try again’ upon reopening it at a later time

- Health app: Descriptions for health data such as Activity will disappear upon reopening at a later time

- Notification bubbles are sometimes the incorrect size

- Random freezing on my iPhone 6s

Just commenting on it. Sorry you felt the need to comment
Myself I was expecting they might allow us a taste of Shortcuts just before the GM. I'm jonesing for it and fear it won't be released along with the GM but instead follow "later this year."

So the prevailing view is no beta tomorrow?
Boy, I'd be shocked. But Apple has shocked me a few times, so I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Seems pretty unlikely though.

It feels ready. I think you'll see it on release day.

This is the speculation thread. You'll get more feedback on these in the Beta 11 thread.

I thought beta testers always got it a couple weeks early so they could load it onto the new phones? I think it’s released to the public on the day of the keynote. I could be wrong?

Go Eagles!!!
Developer is released on that day and then the public gets it the week of the iPhone launch usually on that Tuesday. And week one should be a fun one!!

Sounds right, I forgot how it worked as I am usually on the beta at this point. Oh yea for sure, I think you guys have our number week 1 though.

There could be one more beta this Friday or next Monday but that would certainly be the last one for sure. Then they’ll probably take that last beta and turn it into the GM.

RISE UP!!

Too much to list, but I will try:

1. Lock screen bug: Time and lock status indicator will disappear if you swipe twice from right to left (like you would want to access camera, but swipe twice (in iOS 11 too)

2. Glitchy animation when expanding a grouped app notification multiple times quickly

3. Glitchy animation when adding a widget

4. "App Crasher": Go to the app switcher, swipe up to close an app but then quickly tap on it; you will see a crash, but the app will be still in the app switcher. They should block touch input while an app is closing.

5. App switcher accepts more than 1 input: You can make your app switcher go crazy if you touch it with A finger and B finger at once, and then swipe with both of them.

6. Timer at the control center accepts multiple inputs: Open CC, 3D touch the timer, select a timespan but dont release your finger. Click start. With your other finger you didnt release, change the timespan. It will result in a blinking glitchy animation.

7. Apps will get zoomed in: This is an annoying one as it happens randomly too, but you can reproduce it. To fix it, go to the homescreen and then go back to the opened app, it will be normal now. I will just send a picture of the bug that happens randomly:

8. System will lag if you pull down notification center: Pull down N.C. Pull it up half-way, not completely, hold it. With your other finger, scroll in an app, it will be laggy as hell.

9. Most annoying: iPhone X Exclusive: Google Maps and Clash Royale lag with zero brightness only: Open google maps. If you didnt do it before, close it and open again, so we will have material design 2 actvated. Now set your brightness to zero, boom enjoy stuttering lag. You can make it smooth by 1,start screen recording OR 2,increase brightness. There may be other apps too affected but I only had it with those 2. Most annoying issue, with the app zoom-in.

Most of these are things no normal user would or should do (and please don’t try to convince me otherwise).

Technically, these are probably bugs but they really have no relevance to 99.9% of users. If it bothers you, then you’re free to try a different operating system.

True, but zoom-in bug with the brightness lag is what bothers me. Camera bug at lockscreen is annoying too because while you swipe notifications to get deleted (because we still dont have delete all notifications button for recent notifications), you can reproduce the bug by mistake.

If the most annoying/critical bugs you can find are things like this I think we can safely say that iOS 12 is shaping up to be a pretty stable X.0 release. Most of these are nitpicking little things that while annoying are not critical to the user experience.

Apple has to prioritize their bug fixes and feature additions in a way that makes sense to them. If a bug is not critical and only occurs when a user is performing a non-standard behavior I'd wager that bug is on the bottom of the fix list. Maybe some of these get cleaned up in a 12.x release or maybe Apple feels that they aren't worth the investment due to their relatively low impact on an iPhone user's day to day life.

Usually , isn't the GM same build than last beta without the beta tools?

For example
IOS 11 beta 10=15A5372a ,GM=15A372
iOS 10 beta 8= 14A5346a , GM=14A346

iOS12 beta 11=16A5365b ,GM=16A365?

The only time this has happened was iOS 11. The build you have for iOS 10 is incorrect. iOS 10 public release was 14A403. So, no, it’s not what usually happens. But, it could happen.
