How is the 11 pro max slower than my mates Xs max in same version? How is a newer and faster phone slower how is this possible

I don’t know , my iPhone 11 pro is way slower and unresponsive than my old Xs max ..apple without jobs is awful, crap ... I cannot believe my eyes ....

The huge level of diagnostics collected in 13.1 and 13.1.1 seems to have gone away with 13.1.2. But I will monitor it for a few days.

Im going back to 13.1. I had no touch or tap to wake issues on this version and will go to 13.2 when its released.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IS REQUESTED!

I ran the Public Betas all summer long, and when I got my 11 Pro Max I decided to only do public releases and I set it up as a new phone. Some things were fixed but I still have a long list of bugs that remain. I have a handful that bother me more than the others.

I want to see if anyone else is experiencing them, so here they are.

-Every few days I will go to 'Settings>Sounds & Haptics' and find that my ringer volume has been turned down even though the 'Change with Buttons' setting is off and even though I didn't go into settings and manually turn it down.

-Every other day or so I will notice that in 'Settings>Notifications>Reminders' the 'Banner Style' will reset from 'Temporary' to 'Persistent.' This also corresponds with the Reminders icon in ‘Settings>Notifications’ going blank at the same time. It’s like the app resets these settings.

-At the same time that happens to Reminders in the Settings app, in ‘Watch.app>Notifications’ the Reminders app icon under 'Mirror iPhone Alerts From' also disappears.

-That leads me to also wonder why Reminders is the only stock app that has both its own section in the Watch app under Notifications AND a toggle for 'Mirror iPhone Alerts From.'

-'In Settings>Notifications>Mail' there is no option for 'Notification Grouping' like every other app unless you have more than one mail account for some reason.

-In the Health app in Profile>Devices if I select my Apple Watch (the only watch there) I have a message at the top of the screen that says "This Apple Watch is no longer paired with this iPhone" even though it is and even though it's still reporting data in this very screen.

Thanks for any replies I get to this!

IPP 11 on 13.1.2
Issue: Mail

I am getting emails that have been deleted reappearing as unread. Did not have this in the previous release.
It is happening for both the stock Mail app and the GMail app. I am not seeing this on my ProtonMail app.

I will trash several emails in either app. These are different accounts however all accounts are GMail based.
A single email will resurface as unread. Even when deleted a second time, it still may reappear again. no common sender.

I am not currently seeing this on my XS Max.

Since iOS 13, I don't receiving notification on my phone saying that my watch was updated successfully when its done, anyone else ?

Sadly it’s like that currently. My wife’s 6S feels faster than my 12 pro

May be 11 Pro?
You hold and call it wrong
:)
With the level of so called “innovations” and “incredible” mismanagement .

I want to NOTE that next year 12 will be my first Android 11 :)))

I agree that iOS 13 on the new iPhones suck. I should’ve kept my iPhone X. But battery life seems better than 3.1. But the keyboard will randomly stop working. I have to hit the backspace for it to work again. Makes sense, right?

62% remaining, unplugged at 03:30

Battery life really started sucking for me with the 13.1 public and hasn't gotten any better on 3.1.2.

My iPad is significantly better on battery though. Hoping there's a fix for my phoned other than a restore...

Return of an old one ... both on the IPP11 and XS Max - 13.1.2
App Auto Update
On both devices I had apps tell me an update was available. When I went onto the IPP it showed nothing pending till I manually refreshed and had 7 updates including the app that informed of the pending update. On the XS Max I showed nothing pending and a manual refresh showed 17 upates pending including the two apps (both financial) of available updates.

Damn. Thought this issue was gone.

There appears to be something wrong with the battery usage report for my XS Max since I updated to 13.1.2 from PB4.

I have a habit of allowing my device to sip via a wireless stand on my desk. For the usage vs battery consumption; it looks to be off by a good bit. Then I am also seeing apps in the uasge list (ex: TuneIn Radio) which have not been used in a while - as in days. Phone is only showing 4% yet I did 3+ hours of conference calls on speakerphone. Take a look — something is not right.

Same here. Battery life is very good on my iPad air 3 but not so on my XS Max. It was good on 13.1.1 but now on 13.1.2 the battery is poor in standby mode. It was at 100% at 5PM and now on 1:40 AM it is at 93% (I didn't touch the phone at all between that time). Usually it should be at 97% or so. Also sometimes all my notifications disappear from both lock screen and notification center...

I am now having this annoying bug where the iPhone still shows me connected to WiFi for 1+ minute after deactivating it or the opposite, it still shows me on mobile data even though I am already on WiFi. It takes 1+ minute to actually show in the status bar

I lost all monthly activity badges aside from 2018 with iOS 13, but 13.1.2 just brought them all back. A small thing, but it was annoying me.

I'm worried this will jinx it, but this morning after turning my phone on all my notifications INCLUDING MAIL worked. ding ding! They actually made a sound, showed on the notification screen and didn't immediately disappear.
Duck! I jinxed it. This morning on turning my phone on and providing the PIN so it'd connect to WiFi, after 2 minutes the screen lit up and new mail notifications came in silently. By the time I walked over to my phone, the screen had turned back off, so I lifted it and ... nothing. The notifications had disappeared. On unlocking, I notice the badge icon and the inbox are correct - there are new mails.

About 10 minutes later, another email comes in and a notification comes in, with sound, and doesn't disappear.

So the Mail Notifications bug is still present on 13.1.2. Note that we all did a full install of 13.1.2 so it shouldn't be related to any previous beta code hanging around. Also, as 13.1.2 doesn't seem to be flagged s a beta (even though us lot with beta profiles got it) my Feedback app was deleted. I used my Catalina one to update my feedback.

Another issue - my phone continually switching between WiFi and 4G when calling someone on FaceTime Audio, is also still present. Grr.
