Looks like a reboot fixed it.. Which is weird because I've rebooted since installing iPadOS 13.1.2
If only a reboot would fix the other 13.x issues.

I only had 13 on my XS Max for a day, but I'm sure notifications and Mail were working as expected/as they had on 12.4.1. How is your XS Max doing on 13?
LOL no. It's there since iOS 12 (maybe even 11?)..apologies if posted before but this morning, I had this on my screen:

Never seen this before - is it something new in iOS 13?

Never seen this. How do you activate it?
I think the "Good Morning" and weather screen is related to Bedtime mode. Have you recently enabled that?
No it is part of Do not Disturb. I don't have Bedtime mode activated, but Do Not Disturb I have active and I get that screen every morning.I think the "Good Morning" and weather screen is related to Bedtime mode. Have you recently enabled that?
Do you have sleep mode enabled?I have Do Not Disturb scheduled between 22:00 and 7:00, but I've never seen this "Good Morning" screen. So there must be something else, too. Perhaps a combination of factors, one of which might be DND.
I'm on 13.1.2.
Ah cool. I don't use either as I turn my phone off at night after plugging in the charger, but I might give it a go as it'll also give the new Optimised Battery Charging feature a chance to work.No it is part of Do not Disturb.

They don't call it that anymore. Now it's called "Dim Lock Screen" - it's an option under Do Not Disturb.
Could be. I'll try that.Ahh right - in that case, I also have 'Dim Lock Screen' AND 'Do Not Disturb' scheduled. Perhaps that 'Good Morning' screen is the result of BOTH of these being active....?!
Has anyone else noticed that when they connect their iPhone to a Windows based computer and trust it, that it no longer comes up as a mounted drive to access the photos? Is this an issue or is this a change Apple made?
