13.1.2 on XS Max
Coming from the PB4, I am noticing that the built in swype in the Apple Keyboard has become intermittent. It will stop working between words or in the middle of a word. I especially notice it in Messages or in Safari.

Not seeing the issue on the IPP 11.

13.1.2 has become, annoyingly filled with bugs that affect the everyday use. Most I have found center on Messages, Mail, and Safari.

I am having a weird mail issue. I have 2 POP accounts set up in my iPhone X and iPad Air 3rd gen running 13.1.2. I have both accounts set to Manual and not to Fetch. Yet periodically, when I open my devices I see a badge showing that there are emails that have been downloaded to my devices. They are not current emails but usually a day or two old. I have no idea how to stop this from happening, especially since i have everything set to manual.

Any thoughts would be appreciated on how to stop this, if possible. Thanks.

Are these from previously read or deleted emails?

I want to know is there a bug on notification because I am not getting any notification.

They are unread emails on the phone. I had previously downliaded and read these on Outlook 2010 on my laptop. So, I am not sure where they are coming from or how they are getting to my Mail app on the phone.

This mail thing is nuts.
Mine are ones I downloaded, read and deleted or mass deleted then one or more keeps coming back.
Not sure just what Apple did, but email is becoming a pita.

Yes, notifications and sounds/vibe on notifications

I will assume deleting the accounts and re-adding them hasn't helped.

Didn't help me. Nor did deleting the Mail app and reinstalling, which caused some mayhem that required reinstalling iOS.

I am also noticing more battery drain on 13.1.2 on standby and during use. 13.1.1 was great. I have thought about going back to 13.1.1, but it seems like too much trouble, I will wait for 13.2 and see if that is any better.

Apple stopped signing 13.1.1 today.

The developers need to write it into their apps. iOS dark mode isn't universal except for their own apps (or parts of them at least... lookin' at you News).
I understand I just wish developers do this quick it’s dumb having to do it manually on all apps . Even macrumors goes dark when you in dark mode automatic

So how is everyone’s phones doing?

Any random heat up from doing basic tasks like there is a rogue process happening?

How is standby battery drain? Is it back to iOS 12 standards?

Is there still stuttering swiping home screens?

Im still with 12.4.1 on my 7. I usually wait till December or January to update. And so far it’s still looking like I should wait unless things drastically turn around in 13.2!

Most on here probably have newer devices but I have a 7 also and have found all the betas really mostly problem free and very smooth. The latest one seems to have better battery of all the previous ones. I’ve never had any heat issues. Could be because I don’t push it by gaming or other intensive stuff. It’s very smooth and I’m very pleased with it.

I am okay with 13.1.2 on my 7+. I would say that battery life has lost a bit from 12.4 on the phone but it doesn’t bother me. I would say that battery life is around the same on my iPad mini 5. I did notice an increase in battery percentage in phone usage even though I don’t use the phone that much. That could be a local carrier issue.

one minor annoyance is that pictures of contacts don’t show up in my car display. just the names. I recommend waitingfor 13.2 when people ask as there are a fair number of issues still present.

the most annoying one personally is iCloud Notes lag in syncing. They fixed the Reminders problems I think. How about Notes? I do use Notes a lot. Probably my second most use after email.

Wow, my iPhone 7 had been working great. Now suddenly out of the blue the battery seems to have issues. This has never happened before. I cannot get it to charge to 100% even over nite. 92% was best I could do this morning and it has dropped quickly since then with very little usage, not warm at all. I’m hoping it’s just a hiccup and it will sort itself out. Was really enjoying the latest update with no issues.

Maybe your optimized charging was in effect when you took it off the charger?

My iPhone 11 Pro has been off the charger for 27 hours, with regular use, and I’ve still got 3% battery left.

Incredible.

Since updating my iPhone X to iOS 13 whenever i try to send a MMS picture (green text) to anyone they receive the picture in a very low resolution small sized photo.
Never had this issue before with any of my previous iPhone or previous iOS versions.

Im able to receive MMS pictures in their perfect size/format but i can no longer send them.
iMessages still works fine just the traditional SMS/MMS that has been affected.

Ive checked all the settings and everything seems to be exactly as it was before. Ive tried hard restart, toggling off and on wifi/blutooth/cellular network but nothing seems to be working so far :/

Has anyone else come across a similar issue since updating to iOS 13 on a iPhone X?

It was on by default. Forgot about that. Going to leave it off for awhile and see if any difference. Not sure if it will cure the fast drain but worth a shot. Maybe that feature is not working properly.
thanks for the tip to check it.

Notifications for third party apps are completely out to lunch. 80% of the time I get nothing.

Same. Sometimes notifications work as they are expected to per settings. Sometimes they don’t. There doesn’t Seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Another big bummer has been notifications on Apple Watch. I have it set to silent, so that it just vibrates per notification. But it still keeps sounding off the bell notification sound. Phone calls still make the phone Ringing sound on Apple Watch, even when silence is enabled. I’ve even reset the watch and re-paired it again after a restore on my new iPhone Pro Max. I don’t get it. Radars have been filed :/

....personally, I think the Mail app totally sucks in iOS 13. Its glitchy, flagging an email is now buried in about 4-5 screen taps (was only 2 previously) and everytime you open the app, you have to wait for the screen to refresh and show you new emails - even when there is a badge icon showing you the number of unread emails?!?!?!?

Utter Garbage......

...thats weird!?

I've also experienced this.

My wife (who is on an iPhone 7 and NOT on iOS 13) sent me a 10 second video a few weeks ago (she was at home on WiFi) and when I received it (I was at work with a good 4G connection on my iPhone XS), it was a small thumbnail video message with a really low resolution and loads of pixelation??! o_O

Next intermittent bug :(
IPP 11
I'll be in photos and leaving with a particular photo being viewed.
When I go back into photos later, half the time the last photo shows and the other half the last photo shows then closes to the main root photo view.
No rhyme or reason I have found.

When I press and hold on the media part of the control center from the lock screen. It completely locks up my iPhone. I can put it to sleep but when it wakes up, the control center is still there and can’t be moved. I have to force reboot the iPhone each time to be able to use it again

Release notes say this fixes bluetooth disconnects in some vehicles, but I am getting frequent disconnects in my 2009 Acura. Bluetooth connection drops randomly every few minutes, then reconnects shortly after. Really annoying. Hope it is truly fixed in 13.2.
