Here we go .... Safari Time
This issue I am seeing is on the XS Max, not the IPP 11.

When I open a link from either Mail or other app (ex: Feedly), infrequently the link will open to a blank page and Safari will become unresponsive. I end up having to kill Safari. If I copy the link and paste into a Safari tab, it work just fine.

I have not had this happen on the IPP 11.

I have this issue on my iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.1.2

The 'Time to Leave' alert has stopped working on my iPhone running 13.1.2. The appt. is setup correctly as I get the time to leave notification on my MBP and the map thumbnails in the appt. but my iPhone doesn't alert. Normal alerts are working fine.

Anyone else use this feature and have experienced this?

Dang, it’s cold where you live. I have been getting this every morning for the past couple of betas at least maybe more.

By his network I would guess that's a °C temp and not °F, 3°C would be 37.4 °F.

Is sending a pic on WiFi in iMessage taking unusually long for anyone else? It took about 10 seconds to send (got new internet installed yesterday and is 200 mbps down). Shouldn’t be a problem.

I turned WiFi off, and it sent instantly on LTE.

Seeing the same on XS Max. My internet is 400 down, 50 up. Takes up to 15 seconds to send pics or other type attachments. On LTE (ATT) it goes in a couple of seconds at most.
MMS is longer than iMessage but both are longer on WiFi.

So how is everyone’s phones doing?

Any random heat up from doing basic tasks like there is a rogue process happening?

How is standby battery drain? Is it back to iOS 12 standards?

Is there still stuttering swiping home screens?

Im still with 12.4.1 on my 7. I usually wait till December or January to update. And so far it’s still looking like I should wait unless things drastically turn around in 13.2!

Have had a couple of different apps trigger severe heating under 13.1.2 - never happened before.
  • Word Connect 2019 - intermittent
  • Scanner Pro - when processing multiple documents
  • 15C SciCalc - This has since stopped working
  • Books - when displaying certain books
The heating occurs in the upper left area of the device. Gets very hot to the touch.
Concerning.

13.1 and 13.1.1 seemed fine on my 7.
13.1.2 is a little worrisome. It is still early, but I am seeing noticeably lower battery life and had my first ever random restart (phone was locked, sitting on the table next to me, I look over and notice the apple boot logo pop up). It is also getting very warm with normal usage, much more so than with previous flavors of 13. I'll give it a few more days, but I may go back to 13.1.1.

If one doesn’t have any sort of backup from iOS 13.1.2, the only way to downgrade would be to download the IPSW file and restore as a new device, right?

You can use the IPSW and “Update” to retain your data. The only issue from a downgrade is when there are significant changes from iOS 13 to iOS 12 that you’ll need a restore. Do a back up in case whether iCloud and/or iTunes before.

Oh, I didn’t realize that. Thanks.

Thinking about going back to 13.1.2 for the crazy good battery life.

Notifications are really inconsistent on iOS 13/iPad OS, it seems. I have an iPhone and iPad, both devices set up to receive all the same notifications from about a dozen apps, I have done it this way for years. Now, sometimes a notification doesn't show up on one device or the other, or the notification doesn't come up on one device for 30 minutes or an hour. This is on a very fast WiFi network too. I realize sometimes the notifications can be a few minutes later than the other, but wow it's working a lot worse than it used to. I hope the next update makes this more reliable again.

Is anyone getting an error with iMessage activation from iOS 13.1.2?
I restore my IP 6s from DFU, set up as new and I got iMessage activation error "Activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again".

I am having a weird mail issue. I have 2 POP accounts set up in my iPhone X and iPad Air 3rd gen running 13.1.2. I have both accounts set to Manual and not to Fetch. Yet periodically, when I open my devices I see a badge showing that there are emails that have been downloaded to my devices. They are not current emails but usually a day or two old. I have no idea how to stop this from happening, especially since i have everything set to manual.

Any thoughts would be appreciated on how to stop this, if possible. Thanks.

I am also noticing more battery drain on 13.1.2 on standby and during use. 13.1.1 was great. I have thought about going back to 13.1.1, but it seems like too much trouble, I will wait for 13.2 and see if that is any better.
