All Devices iOS 13.2 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Most interesting. Downloaded it this mornining and it wouldn’t install, could not be verified message no internet. This afternoon went back in and downloaded again and got the 17B5059g build and it installed ok. I think they pulled 17B5068e and replaced it with beta 1 build since there was a problem. Is this possible? Settings is showing software up to date.

This intrigues me.

I actually downgraded from 13.2 Beta 1 to 13.1.2 and my iPhone 11 Pro is just performing insanely well. I truly can’t kill the battery in this thing - I’m getting 18-27 hours a day. Never need to charge my phone at all throughout the day.

Still too nervous to get back on the beta train cause 13.2 KILLED my battery, but I’m intrigued.

Does anyone notice for the past two betas the phone takes some time to boot up to start the installation process?

Installing 13.2 beta on IP11 btw.
 
On my side, on iPhone 11 Pro, beta 1 and 2 are both very good in terms of battery life. No issues at all. It sleep like a baby all the night and I even don’t loose one percent.
About deep fusion, the lack of indicator is a concern for me. We are not able to see if it works or not and difference between 13.1.2 and 13.2 is not very noticeable.
Finally, the signal reception is very near of what I observed before with my Qualcomm iPhone 8, even in bad reception areas. However, in areas where the signal is good, the iPhone 11 Pro is really faster. I even made a Speedtest with more than 200 Mbps in download. I never reached this speed with the 8.
 
Anyone on iPadOS 13.2 that can tell me if you can CMD-Space in an app, search for another app and drag it to multitask next to the app you're in (without tapping Cancel in the search field)? This feature was in iOS 12 and I miss it so much. Will Apple ever fix it??

CarPlay navigation using Applemaps no longer have turn by turn with siri announcing. If I have music playing it’s a quick pause in audio. With music off, nothing happens.
 
On my ProMax, the Apple Map showing blank screen after install, while the Google Map is ok. I restarted it once and fixed. No other issues so far.

edit: blank screen -> I mean the graph paper checkerboard screen... with the pin showing the location, on the checkerboard.....
 
Battery life on my Pro Max when the Apple Watch was connected was horrific, barely getting 6-7 hours even on standby and that was with not even wearing the watch!

Turned off the Apple Watch and my phone is currently only 30 hours straight! inc facebook, twitter, gaming, etc. Big, big difference.
 
Believe I found multiple new issues:
  • Hey Siri won’t state what time it is
  • Hey Siri won’t state what day of the week it is
  • Reminders doesn’t know what days of the week are weekdays (setup a reminder to only remind M-F and it will remind on S/S too!) - worked fine prior to iOS 13

Seems there are multiple Siri issues. Try Hey Siri, what time is it on 13.2 beta 2 or Hey Siri what month is it? She doesn’t say anything but does display the result on screen, sometimes incorrectly.

I’m not having any of these issues on my iPhone X.

Defiantly Siri issues in this Beta. Announce messages w Siri via AirPods is broken. Beeps/interrupts quick letting you know you have a message but does not read anything out. Overall a lot smoother and quicker beta but will be looking forward to Beta 3 hopefully this coming week.
