Sounds like for some reason it's failing to update the firmware on the Ultra Wideband chip. Make sure to report it via the Feedback app.Just updated to the latest public beta and received a "Ultra Wideband Update Failed" pop up error message. When I selected "Learn More" in the pop up it says to plug the phone into your Mac and Command-click check for updates to reinstall the update. Did that and nothing happened so contacted Apple Support. They did a remote diagnostic (hardware and software) and said nothing was out of order however still getting the error message when rebooting or when I go into Settings - About where there's the same message showing.
They said the next step would be to revert no non-beta and restore from back up. Not sure if I should do that or just ignore the error message and hope that it goes away on the next update?
Thoughts?
If you are not in a hurry, you can wait. If want to restore, just restore and test it before you restore from backup.Just updated to the latest public beta and received a "Ultra Wideband Update Failed" pop up error message. Even the animations are choppy... Maybe my phone is indexing but I don’t have any photos or .. to index ... it is not just me .. every single 11 pro in the store is slower than Xs .. my friends are complaining already about this slowness from iOS .. other returned their phones . . . How long takes to 11 pro to index ?
Yeah it's possible. Not the first conclusion I'd jump to when dealing with beta software though.Sometimes, if the fails to update the component, the component may have completely failed, similar to NFC.

A good test would be to revert to 13.1.3. Or report via Feedback app and wait for Beta 4. It's not like anything is really using UWB yet.
If you have access to the dev portal, I would try downloading the full 13.2 b3 IPSW and use Option-click 'Check for Update' method to re-install the OS via this method and see if that clears up the error instead of reverting back to 13.1.3.Oddly, I tried to do a restore and revert back to 13.1.3 but it would not erase. Deleted the beta profile, rebooted, disabled Find My iPhone, plugged into my iMac and tried to do a restore but no luck, when I hit next it just goes back in a loop.
I may just wait as others have said as it does not seem to significantly impact performance. Apple did say all hardware and software were showing normal so my hope is that this will be cleared on the next update.
When selecting multiple photos in the Photos app and using the share sheet to send them via Messages, do the photos still get sent out of order?
I’ve reported this bug multiple times, but I’m off the beta train so I can’t report it for this beta.
I can still play music while capturing video on my iPhone 11 Pro!!! I hope this is a feature since it was a thing in beta 2.
Hi guys,
what are you guys thinking about the drums? is it better than ios 13.1?
i'm still using ios 13.1.3 and i have problems with the battery.
My 11 Pro Max doesn't allow me to do that. Music stops playing when I start recording
Go to betaprofiles.com and try out the dev beta.I can’t even get the public beta profile to download.
Won’t recognize my 11 Pro Max as an iOS device.
Been through many betas, have never run into this.
Perplexed.
Has anyone else found that the latest update did not fix the problem of dropping calls using the iPhone 11? I installed the update, but I'm still dropping calls via Bluetooth.

Well, that did the trick. Downloaded the IPSW and did a fresh install using that. The error message has disappeared. Thank you very much for the suggestion!
