Any noticeable updates to Deep Fusion? Is it still not compatible with Photos Captured Outside the Frame / Auto Adjustments being switched on at the same time?
I don't think that's going to change. If the ultrawide angle lens (which is necessary for Photos Captured Outside the Frame and which has no focus pixels) is active, Deep Fusion simply cannot work. The problem is forcing people to (A) know that and (B) have to go into the Camera settings to toggle. This is not optimal.

Yes, not fixed. This is major bug.

I can't seem to reproduce this. I opened Safari and went to Macrumors, then did a whole bunch of other stuff with the phone for about ten minutes. I came back to Safari and it did not reload the page.

This is on an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

You have to open multiple tabs in safari.

Same here. About twenty minutes between visits; music, iMessages, a dictionary app, and Photos used during that 20, but Safari didn't reload when I opened it again. Finally.

Wish dark mode would turn on automatic when I’m in the dark and back to light when it detects light , I know I can add it to control center but idk I want that

The washed out wallpaper bug is back. I’ve already sent feedback on it.

Can we confirm if the following two issues from the previous beta were resolved?
  • Hiding a picture in the Photos app, using the long press → share → hide menu, consistently crashes the Photo app in iPad OS. Works on iOS.
  • Some portrait mode filters (contour, stage, stage mono) add dark bands to some portrait photos (shot with iPhone 11). Pictures are not permanently corrupted, as removing edits removes the dark bands.
Hi, I am the original reporter of those problems. I can confirm that both of them have been fixed in this beta.
Tested on iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 2018, and iPhone 11.
I have now updated the first post!

However, I have found a new similar problem. Don’t know if it’s new from this beta or not (but works fine on 13.1.3).
  • Forwarding an email in the Mail App, using the “long press → forward” menu, crashes the Mail App (Tested on iPhone 11 and iPad Pro 2018).

Tried this on Xs Max and doesn't crash. Although I don't think long press is active for forward.

I just noticed I can’t see a bunch of photos after updating to the latest beta.
My camera roll says I should have 3058 but when I go in I only see 2900 according to the iCloud info at the bottom. How can I get those photos back?

I just tried it and crashes for me too.

Im happy to confirm on this beta, my 11 Pro Max is now smooth, earlier when it drops I was still getting ui lag but it has settled and now its really fast so its a good look :)
Don’t ever update your iOS again because it WILL get messed up again in a future update. Go out on top.

Anyone having an issue where the side button stops working when trying to lock the screen or toggling Siri? it works to invoke Apple Pay but won’t do anything otherwise. Raise to wake also doesn’t work when it‘s misbehaving. A hard reboot temporarily fixes it.
Just realized it has to do with having the screen auto lock set to 5 minutes or more and you let the phone sit idle until the screen dims. Once this happens it triggers the bug.

EDIT:
TURNS OUT IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH A MAGNET IN MY CASE THAT WAS CAUSING THE ISSUE

Long press > forward does in fact crash Mail on my iPP 11. One of the few issues I am actually having with email client.

When did this welcome addition get made? It is defaulted to off but I don’t remember it being there at the beginning of the 13.x beta cycle and even submitted a feature request for it. Thought this was a no brainer seeing as how the chances were pretty good you were in a car and possibly driving if you were connected to CarPlay. 🤷🏽‍♂️
