All Devices iOS 13.2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Just kidding...it really does seem like the mail and safari bugs are fairly widespread. 13.2 is a decent update for me and I understand it was needed for the AirPods, but really hoping for a new beta to see if there are fixes for these other issues you folks are experiencing.

All I really care about at this point is the MidWest update for Maps and to finally port my work phone over to my personal phones Esim.

The inconsistency is really huge with 13. There's far more variation between different users, and with different apps, than I remember with any other release of iOS.

Dark mode doesn’t auto activate at sunset when I’m using my phone. I noticed this when I saw night shift turn on while dark mode didn’t. Happens every time I’m using my phone at the time it’s supposed to turn on and has been like this since iOS 13.1. Does anyone else have this issue? If you could, please report it so they can fix it with the next release.

This has been happening to me since day one on my 11 pro max. Apple has no idea what to do besides restore the phone and set it up as new. I put it on a custom schedule and since then it’s been working fine

Now im having problem with photos album kept restoring from icloud since yesterday after update 🤦🏻‍♂️ My battery is killing me right now. My battery drains almost 25% without me using. Anyone have any suggestion on what to do or does this happened to anyone since 13.2 update?

I don't understand, I have zero issues on my 11 pro Max.

So the phone is keeping your apps in memory? Mine would refresh after couple minutes when I switch back to that specific app from another app.

So say I leave this very forum website on my screen. Lock the device. Turn back on the device in 3-5 minutes it opens to the home screen. Not safari. Safari crashed. Safari reloads. I’m guessing it’s this way for everyone. Give it a try.

Just tried this on my 7 and it opened right back to the forum where I left it a few min earlier.

I gave up on the OEM mail app(had to open to get a refresh) and went back to Gmail. It works fine for me. Now just waiting on dark mode for that app.

Go into Photos app, scroll to the bottom, check if all photos have been synced. Are all your photos synced? Also, the Photos app will use ML to categorize your Moments so it may drain battery.

Thats the problem. Theres the never ending “restoring from icloud” on the bottom of my photos app. I kept all original photos on my phone + icloud. So I dont think theres any restoring left to do. I tried taking few pics on my iphone and it automatically sync to my ipad so theres no problem there. And i plugged the phone for few hours yesterday and its still not finish restoring. Problem only exist yesterday after I update to 13.2 😞 Dont know what else to do now since my battery drains like crazy..

Should i update to 13.2 merely for my airpods? 13.1.3 seems fine for me now. Safari issue is really that serious? I remember some poster said that it‘s unusable now. That worries me a lot

When I take a photo with flash on (not auto), when you go to the gallery from the camera app and switch between the photos the photos flash for a second and then appear right. Anyone else? I'll try to upload a video if i can today.

It's never worked properly for me, in particular it always loses the call when I try and answer on my Mac. O2, on the other hand, has always worked well (I have dual SIM). I went with EE for the watch plan but now that O2 do it I'll be dropping EE.

EDIT: That option isn't even there on the O2 settings page so looks like O2 don't support it but since it never worked I'm sticking to my plan.

I’ve got the iOS 13 Developer Beta Profile installed (running iOS 13.2 Beta 4), and was also prompted to upgrade to the official public 13.2 release. Interesting.

Seeing the same for my XS Max (3.49 GB). Complete package download OTA.

Is this the first time when dev beta profile went to final release? Usually it skips final update and goes onto the next beta doesn’t it? Usually you remove the beta profile to get the final release I though? This time my my xs max it went to beta 4 to 13.2 final? So now it’s going tongonton13.2.1. Or something??? Or we wait for iOS 14 beta or something

I have xs max I had beta 4 and it installed 3 GB iOS 13.2 up entire oa that usually doesn’t happen it jumps to another beta and also the build number changes from beta 4 I had!! Makes me wonder why this was done.

Anyway when do I think 13.2.1 beta will be coming out now? And how many more Betas are we going to have and when I want 13.2.1 now damn it lol....

Same here, and like all the others said I don't remember this happening before. I've only updated my ipad, my xs max is still on 1.3
This has been a rough update, sad that 12 was so good and 13 seems to be on fire a bit.

looks like the GM of 13.2 is needed for AirPods Pro... just tried to pair with the latest Beta and it said it needed an update, it checked and there was not update. Eventually it decided there was an update and it is currently downloading the 3GB update to my 11 Pro Max

Why don't you just use a third party app like Chrome for the time being until it's fixed?

The bugs affected not only safari, but all apps that use webview like Twitter.

You could try toggling iCloud photos off and on.

13.2 FINALLY fixes the bug that keeps CarPlay/Bluetooth from updating the cellular signal strength status with the iPhone Xs/Xs Max/Xr series devices. It's only been a bug since the device was first released, so I guess a year and a month isn't too long to wait!

I cannot update my apps anymore and some shows and movies are sometimes disappearing in the tv app at the „up next“ line. Does anyone else have these problems?
