I don't know about everyone else, but Apple's Mail app for me has been a whole lot better on 13.2! All the problems with deleted emails reappearing in my Inbox, email content unable to download from the server, new emails not showing unless I pull down the page to manually refresh...all those issues for me are now fixed.

I am still on 13.1.1 which has been pretty stable for iPhone Xs (but have the overheating issue, wrong album art and random stutters on home screen which have been tolerable). I have read the comments so far and the biggest issue seems to be the bad ram management or safari reload issue. Is everyone having the specific issue so far? I have none of those issue on 13.1.1 but I am eager to upgrade to 13.2. Are any of my current issues fixed ? Please advise.

Has Dark Mode been removed from Maps navigation when Dark Mode is enabled all the time in Settings? Viewing the map is dark but starting navigation changes it back to white.

I’ve been wanting this for a long time - and could swear it hasn’t worked before - but now on 13.2 I can use Siri to power on / off Apple TVs around my house. Anyone notice this? Is it actually something new with 13.2?

Safari is a complete nightmare on this. Leave it for a few seconds, reload. Switch between tabs on my iPad Pro 2018 for too long, reload and any webform text is gone. It was fine on 13.1.3, I don’t expect perfection and know things will refresh after an extended period or if I’ve been flicking between loads of apps / tabs, but this is absurd.

It shouldn’t be happening on an iPhone 11 and iPad Pro. I didn’t bother with the betas because of people reporting this issue, but there it is in the full release! Apple either need to get a handle this sort of thing before updates are released to consumers or, if they can’t be bothered, pack the devices with a minimum of 16GB RAM to mitigate against it.
I feel your pain. If you multitask in Safari, it is basically unusable on 13.2. I posted a video earlier and with just one tab open, I can duplicate a reload of Safari like clockwork. we can only hope they address it soon in a point release. Frustrating for sure.

Safari tabs keeps reloading on my 11 Pro Max. I'm guessing this is a common issue for everyone?
Several people have reported it. In the beta feedback app, this issue shows more than 10 similar reports for this bug. It exists for sure. For everyone is debatable, because everyone has a different experience with their devices. I experience the issue here.

It is really frustrating. Safari is almost unusable now.

Agreed. Forget about filling out webpage forms and then navigating away from Safari. You will lose all your information. It was introduced a couple of betas ago. I know it’s been reported by folks here since it began. We can only hope they address quickly.

I ordered the airpods pro today. Is it a must to update to 13.2 for the full features?

Yeah I’m totally seeing the safari reloads now. I was on 12.4.1 yesterday and my safari stayed in memory a lot better. It’s weird though most other apps are hanging on better.

It’s just safari that decides to die the quickest. Seems like it’s a timed crash. If I switch open a bunch of apps and then come back quickly it’s fine. But leave safari alone for a few minutes even if it was the last or second or third to last used then come back. Boom. Reloading.

Hopefully they fix it. I find this new safari to be faster than iOS 12 safari though so that’s nice. My 7 has been fine so far after that first reboot.

Just wondering how long it will take for my photos in iMessage to fully index....

Recently updated a fairly new 11” iPad Pro to iPad OS 13.2, and all the speakers started to barely produce sound. I tried every volume option I could find, and nothing helped. I could not even connect to a bluetooth speaker, and a pair of Solo Beats sounded tinny.

Finally, I powered down the device, and restarted. Then it worked again.

After reading the article about the HomePods being bricked, I thought I would share my recent experience.

Any battery drain issue? It’s the main issue since i update to ios13. Now I’m at 13.1.3 and wondering whether i should upate to 13.2 for my new airpods...

I’ve got the iOS 13 Developer Beta Profile installed (running iOS 13.2 Beta 4), and was also prompted to upgrade to the official public 13.2 release. Interesting.

Not sure I will update but noticed I have the update waiting for download. Did not delete the profile. Thought it wouldn’t show up with the profile on the phone.

Camera
  • Ability to change the video resolution directly from the Camera app for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max

Why Apple? Give this feature to every iPhone capable of running iOS 13, this is long overdue...

In the minority here, but 13.2 is soooo much smoother on my X! Getting the Safari reloads as well, but an overall more fluid experience. Force Touch makes a lot more sense too (in specific areas).

I assume that this release has to re-index so I'll give it a day of running before I pass judgement on how well it's running.

I really did hope that Notes was fixed.

I let it sit overnight after restarting it and noticed a large drop in “Other” storage so I think mine has reindexed and other than the constant reloads, everything seems to be running well.

What’s the issue with Notes?
