I rolled back myself and unfortunately I couldn’t restore via iCloud or from the my MacBook. Ended up reinstalling all apps and data fresh. Strange thing I lost my custom ringtones and now iTunes won’t restore them either.
You don't need to restore; you just use iTunes (or Finder in Catalina) to install 13.3 over 13.3.1 after putting the phone in DFU mode. Nothing is lost. So, put 13.3.1 back, restore from your 13.3.1 backup (I assume you took one?) and then install 13.3 over the top of it.

Gotcha. I’ll try that. I do have the 13.3.1 backup both in iCloud and on the Mac.

Anyone noticed WiFi randomly disconnects and refused to connect back to the same network it had no issues with all day? Then also prompting wrong password suddenly?

But doesn’t downgrading to 13.3 require a restore?

My iPhone Xs Max has random problems with data connection. I’m on WiFi 90% of the time, so I don’t know how frequent the issue is, but in the last two weeks I’ve noticed several times that my iPhone won‘t have Internet connection when not on WiFi. A restart fixes it, but the problem is that sometimes somebody may be trying to contact me using e-mail / Whatsapp and I won’t notice.

Reset network settings.

Reset network settings.

This may or may not fix it 'permanently'. I have been having connectivity issues randomly. Anytime I will find I have to either switch Wi-Fi off and back on, or cellular off and on. I usually just hit Airplane Mode and back. Sometimes, I go for network settings reset just for the heck of it.

This is not limited to iOS. macOS 10.15.2 has random Wi-Fi connectivity issues as well when it wakes from sleep. This is really only that that they are more into capitalising on new iPhone releases and building features limited to new devices that people might want and hopefully upgrade to new devices each year than really fixing issues that have been persistent across years and release versions now.

I do not usually talk of past releases, but when I got my iPhone 4s, I could rely on that thing. I'd know that if someone sends me an email and I want to get notified of it, I will (if I have network). Now, the software quality is such that I really cannot speak with certainty that my iPhone 8 lying at my desk, not notifying me of anything for a while, is due to there being nothing to notify and not due to it losing connectivity (while apparently showing full signal bars on both Wi-Fi and cellular reception). I do not even remember during which software release did this uncertainty start to surface and build itself in my interaction with the iPhone like plaque, I now live under a vague impression that my device could have lost internet connectivity while it's asleep, and it is not very assuring.

True but it’s best try cause we never know. Especially since their issue seems a bit unique and most of us is good. Next step would be check the router or other devices on the network. I got network issues but it’s mostly cellular issues: signal randomly goes to searching mode and disconnects everything. I thought it was just an XS issue but it’s on the 11 too. And others have the issues too. But oh well.

Minor life issues.

True. For me I am able to single-out the iPhone since I also have an Android phone, on the same network, both cellular and Wi-Fi apart from having a Mac connected to same Wi-Fi.

Android device never loses its cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity unless there is a problem with either (at which point it would become a problem with all the devices in the household and is yet to happen).

On the other hand, the Mac is occasionally, I could probably even say frequently, unable to access websites after connecting back to Wi-Fi upon waking from sleep. The iPhone behaves similarly, regardless of being on Wi-Fi or cellular.

So I know this is something the trillion-dollar company is pitiably failing at doing right, for months and years now.

I just want them to fix the calls on speaker issue. Callers keep saying they hear themselves when I put them on speaker. So annoying. Even on iOS 13.3.
I logged feedback on this. hopefully It’s fixed in the next beta.

Have to agree. My XS Max will randomly drop connectivity yet my Razer does not. If the Razer does, I have neither caught it nor noticed something that leads me in that direction.

Annoyingly frustrating.

Thanks. Hopefully to helps get it fixed faster. Such a obvious bug that should have been fixed already.

Indeed. So far mines just the cellular randomly dropping. But at least it happens less on the 11 series.

Since the Mac is also having a similar issue in some way. I’d say it’s a config thing that only affects how Apple makes WiFi works in their software. Try: changing the WiFi channel (try channel 9/11).

A different security type (open or WPA2 or a simple password change).

Check the router advance settings (I know beam forming causes some issues.)

My WiFi issue right now is it dropping randomly while on a FaceTime audio or video call. And while charging my phone, then I go to connect it again and it seems to refuse to connect and say my password is wrong even though I haven’t changed a thing.

I have been having the same password issue as well and it’s so annoying. It takes 3-4 attempts to get it to connect. And then sometimes it’ll say no internet even though it’s connected when my iPad is connected to it with no problems.

Had wifi password issue here this evening. First noticed my TV wasn't connect and it couldn't find my 5GHz network, only my 2.4. Went to my phone and tried to log in to 5GHz. Got "Incorrect password" on both devices. Checked router settings and they were fine. Rebooted the router and the wifi disconnect and "incorrect login" went away. In my case it was a flaky Netgear router, not my iPhone.
