All Devices iOS 13.3 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I am having an issue with my HomeKit automations. My iPhone and iPad are on 13.3, but my HomePod is on 13.2.1. When I leave the house, automations are no longer enabled and it says "This automation will not run until you update the software on your home hub." My question is, is this simply because they are on different versions? Is anyone else having the same problem? Seems silly to break completely knowing they could never be on the same version.
 
Just noticed this. Not sure if this is new to 13.3 or not...

I reported here for beta 1 that the confetti and shooting star effects are not working for me in Messages; it’s still true in beta 2. Can anyone else confirm this? Making sure it isn’t just me.

I know it’s kind of a trivial feature to be concerned about, but a bug is a bug...

I can confirm...this isn’t working for me either.

I don’t think there is any third party app which allows such notifications. I think only the native Mail app allows notifications for mails moved into some other folder.

I encounter the same issue on beta 1. It seems Waze stays in memory after exiting CarPlay. The issue was not present in 13.2.2.

Am I alone to observe this behavior?

Smart invert colours is broken since beta 1 of 13.0 and Apple never fix it since, so yeah, I know its a beta but like another user said, its frequent that a beta bring new bugs and they aren't fixed for public release especially here with an "a" built its usually mean we are almost done and ready for the final built.

And in this case its especially frustrating because they broke even more something they already broke enough in the first place.

Just for the record, the "a" has nothing to do with it being "almost done". Its simply a revision of a particular build. The next different build could be a "g" if it took them 7 commits to decide to release it for whatever reason. But yeah some bugs still exist in release versions as well as some new ones. Seems that pretty standard.

My one issue with Spark is that when using it with exchange it does not search the directory of my business automatically. Is there any way to address this?

They still haven’t fixed the issue with iPhone 11 Pro Max and from what I gather the whole 11 series where when connected to a car radio via Bluetooth and using the hey Siri command the words come on the screen of phone but the voice of Siri doesn’t play through car... however if you summon Siri by long pressing power button then all works fine... really annoying and started in 13.2 I beliveve!

anyone else having this issue?
 
Had 2 notifications about new emails. Badge showed 2 too. But nothing in the mail app. It seems like they haven’t improved the mail app.

I can also confirm...kind of weird as it worked on the last beta...but I guess that this is why it is a beta!

in two days of using iOS 13.3 beta 2 on iPhone 8, I have found that apps feel nimbler and overall system is fluid and light. They should keep up the work. This feels like what was promised regarding app load times and UI responsiveness. Although, I don’t know of any app that saw major size reduction as was promised.
 
Not for me, been like this all day. The wife tried to text me this morning and nothing got through. She turned off iMessages on her phone and now I can get her texts.

Must be something to do with Apple id, I can't sign out nor backup the phone to iTunes, as iTunes gives me an error.

iPhone 11 PM and 2019 Ford Escape not having this issue. Siri, Bluetooth and CarPlay working without a problem.
