Did the fix the Optimized Battery Charging function that is not working since the 2.2 upgrade?

Apparently this may vary by device. On my iPhone 11 Pro Max on 13.2.2 it uses Face ID and locks the note properly. On my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen on 13.3 it brings up the password field which fails. Settings are the same. Face ID is enabled for Notes on both.

i have an iPhone 11 Pro Max too. But when I try to create a new note and then lock it, it brings up the password box but won’t accept the password. I’m on 13.3b2.

I am unable to do so on 13.2.2 also. I can lock notes in the "on my phone" account but not the iCoud account. So not just a beta issue it appears.

Yeah I’ve now tried this on both my phone on 13.2.2 and my iPad Pro on 13.3, same issue. One other thing I tried was to turn off Face ID for notes on both devices. A password field pops up when you do this and entering the password fails here as well. So you can’t even turn off Face ID if you wanted to. I believe this is another iCloud related bug that not everyone will see, signing out of icloud might resolve it but I am damn tired of having to do that with so many iOS 13 issues. I’ll wait this out. But for those on the beta I hope a report is being submitted. I sent mine this morning.

Dude, you will love spark. Not only is it a great looking app with a lot of customizability, but it has been rock solid in terms of reliability for years now. Also, they are coming out with a new design very soon. You won’t be disappointed!
Agreed. The beta has been great. Email from Edison is good too. For those that miss Google Inbox, Spike isn't bad.

For French 🇫🇷 speaking people, I have discovered bugs which were not present in 13.2.2 regarding Siri prononciation when reading iMessages.
When the sentence contains hyphen (tiret), Siri read them and says « moins ». I have reported it.

How to know it is working or not?

If you see a charging pattern that stays flat on 89% for a while, instead of boost up to 100% straight.

Something like this (taken from my phone on 13.2.2). I really can’t understand why sometimes it works and sometimes not

I thought I was the only one..
I installed the beta at 7 in the morning, used the phone normally throughout the day (screen time about 3,5 hours) with two small charges for 10 minutes on wireless charger and at 10pm I was still at 74%. What the heck? 11pro

You can use the old backups on newer versions of iOS just not the other way around. Archived backup of 13.1.3 should work on anything 13.1.3 and later. So you’re good!

i just wanted to make sure given they are not signing 13.1.3 any longer!
If that is the case, may give this beta a spin.
Thanks!

They still haven’t fixed the issue with iPhone 11 Pro Max and from what I gather the whole 11 series where when connected to a car radio via Bluetooth and using the hey Siri command the words come on the screen of phone but the voice of Siri doesn’t play through car... however if you summon Siri by long pressing power button then all works fine... really annoying and started in 13.2 I beliveve!

anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried all the options under Settings > Siri & Search > Voice Feedback?

I think it was back in the beta 1 thread that I saw someone saying they saw the optimized battery charging feature working for them for the first time after installing the beta?? Then someone else chimed in too and said the same thing? Has this been the case with beta 2? Does it seem like they have tweaked something to get this working for more people? I’m on 13.2.2 and I’ve yet to see this work on my 7. I go to bed about the same time every night and unplug about the same time. Also I’m using a smart battery case. I wonder if that has something to do with it not working? Anybody have a smart battery case and still have the optimized charging working? Like it holds the internal battery at 80% for an hour or two before waking up and unplugging?

I had it working for a while but then it just stopped and hasn’t worked since. Can’t remember which release it was though...

Wait, You wont be able to go back to 13.1.3 iOS. You would have to go back to 13.2.2 since thats the only version currently being signed then restore your 13.1.3 backup.
