Has anyone had problems with Find My on this latest beta?

I have three family members in the app working fine, and over the last couple days, all three have now each gone to "No location found". iPhone., iPad, and Mac all now show that status.

Beta related?

* It has been working flawlessly for months now.

Ok. Today I have used 75% of my battery with 2 hours and 17 min screen-on-time. There is nothing abnormal running in the background, no new app installs, background app refresh off, no battery hogging apps. What the hell is going on?

I'm using a iPhone 11 Pro running IOS 13.3, sometimes when I come to use the camera when it opens I get a black screen, so I am unable to film or take a picture and the only way to fix it is to force close the camera app and reopen it, it doesn't happen always, I encounter this issue here and there but still never had this issue on my previous iPhones, wondering if it's a iPhone 11 Pro issue or IOS 13.3 issue, anyone else having this problem.
Similar to what I've had for 3 months. However, mine tends to crash the camera app and every app in the background or the phone restarts itself. How long have you had this issue?

Have the same problem since a few days, it's loosing Battery Power more than usual.

Well, I'm not happy you have the same issue but I'm glad to know it's not just me. I'm considering doing a factory reset, but I really don't want to have to deal with that. It's just ridiculous how little I'm using my phone and then I notice that half or more of my battery is gone.

@Ninflu @xxray Both of you have this battery issues on iOS 13.3? Or 13.3.1 beta?

Have you been on that version for long? It is strange that suddenly a stable version starts draining battery.

I’m on 13.3 and have had this release since within a few days of release. This has been happening for a week or 2 now.

I agree that it would be weird if this is from 13.3 since I’ve had it for longer. However, it looks like no apps are the culprit. I haven’t changed any settings besides trying to turn off things for battery drain after it started happening. I’ve been using my phone less than I used to, so usage isn’t the cause. My battery capacity is at 94% which is what it was at before this started. I just have no idea what’s going on and can’t think to blame anything else but 13.3 by process of elimination.

My wife's 11 Pro did that for one or two days. No specific app to blame. And it just stopped of its own accord - I don't think she even did a reset. Baffling.

That’s weird. I just did a factory wipe and start from new because I just got too fed up. I hope it works.

I came here after a few months to look at updating my XR on 12.4.1, by the looks of things it’s staying put.

Looking like another iOS 11 disaster.

I’ll see y’all again at iOS 14.3.

I have a problem. Restored my 11 Pro via iTunes, installed everything manually (no backup) and synced my music from itunes. But there are many songs that ask me to join apple music to listen to them. Previously I could listen to them without any pop ups regarding Apple Music. Anyone had the same issue? Care to advise how to proceed?

It's irritating having my music on my phone and not able to listen to it.

Ok, this is ridiculous. 1.5 hour SOT, 72% battery usage. This is after just doing a factory reset and clean install.

@xxray it seems that the background Spotify usage is the responsible of this drain... Can you start using your iPhone without using Spotify, even better, without installing Spotify? Just to identify the software that is causing your brutal battery drain. Thank you.

I’m going to try it out, thanks. The reason I ruled it out is because battery stats said Spotify was only using the battery in the background for a couple hours which was the equivalent of how much time I spent listening to music on headphones today. But I’ll try anything at this point. Will update this thread in about 24 hours when I see where my usage is at by the end of the day tomorrow without Spotify.

I'm guessing, but as you said this was directly after a complete reset and re-install, this may simply be the normal after-upgrade-or-install drain that happens while iOS sorts itself out and re-index stuff for Siri etc. If that's the case, it'll be a one-off.

I’m overseas and both my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 11 are in AirPlane mode. The 7 Plus loses 10% battery per hour, even if not connected to Wifi, unless I turn on low power mode. The Pro 11 seems to lose maybe 10% in a 24 hour period with Wifi. Both are on iOS 13.3.

I think I’ve never mentioned how much I hate iOS 13 and the keyboard. Have I? This still doesn’t make sense.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. It’s been about 24 hours, and SOT isn’t as bad as yesterday with Spotify removed, but I still only am estimated for about 4.5 hrs SOT. I have to assume it’s iOS 13.3 at this point. I wish I could downgrade.

What did you mean by estimated? As far as I know iOS doesn’t have an “estimated” time before the battery drains.

By the way, what was your average SOT before iOS 13.3? 5-6h?

Anyone notice that the ram management gets worse over time. Mine gets worse over a span of a few days to a week. If I do a full reboot it fixes it again but then after some time I notice more frequent reloads with all apps. It’s weird. Almost like a memory leak that keeps getting worse over time and the only fix is to reboot to reset the whole system. I hope they can fix this.

I have not tried to keep track quantitatively, but as an impression, the iPhone 7/7 Plus seem to have more battery trouble with 13 than other iPhones.

I don't notice this so much with RAM management, but I have noticed that every couple of days I need to reboot to solve the HomeKit toggles in Control Center from becoming unresponsive.

Is it normal for the location arrow to come on when making calls? I barely make calls so I just noticed this. I’m on and iPhone 7. Never saw it in 10,11 or 12.

Time for something a little bit different and a chance to really check things.
I just replaced my XS Max with a Pro Max. That in and of itself contained a bit of excitement LINK.

In the end I now went with a completely install to this new device of 13.3 replicating a good portion of my prior app install.

Things very noticeable on day 1.
  1. Mail is a mess. I actually have more issues now than I did with the XS Max on beta 2.
    1. Biggest new Mail mess: I read a number of new emails on my iPad. When I went into Mail on the Pro Max, after waiting a few seconds for the Unread to update, none of these "reads" were reflected. This includes any deleted emails. In the midst of going through these again, all the emails addressed on my iPad suddenly became "read". Talk about a "wtf!!" moment.
  2. Spell check / correction is even worse. I kept the default Apple keyboard and did not install Google Keyboard like I usually do. I am reduced to adding many words to Text Replacement to stop Apple from automatically correcting them into something else.
  3. Face ID is proving to be a deja vu pain point. It is failing approx 40% of the time usually telling me that I need to use my password to activate Face ID.
  4. Could be impacted by the new setup, but I am seeing a significant number of reloads of apps and Safari tabs. See how it shakes out after a couple of days.
Let's just say this has been a pain. If anyone has something they would like me to check let me know. I'll update in a couple of days, maybe less.
