That has not always been my experience. Often the last beta is the same build number, and the full release doesn't show up unless I delete the profile.

Your experience mirrors mine, this is the first time in a long time that the final release has been offered with a beta profile installed.

It definitely not unusual since there were some instances where you can update from beta to release. Below, the build number which release and beta channel receive the same build.

Installing on 7+ and Mini 5. Installation is a very slow process with this update. I have to be at a party in a little while I hope that the phone update finishes soon - I guess I can bring the phone with me and it can update on the way. I just want the email issues fixed.

Anyone’s Screentime devices screwed up in this version? 2 devices aren’t showing on my iPad and when i disable any device it doesn’t get removed from any where else. Thanks.

Dumb question but if I want to get off the beta train, do I install this update then delete the beta profile, or delete the profile first then install? Or does it matter?

It shouldn’t matter as there aren’t any more recent beta releases than 13.3 today. However it’s safest to delete the beta profile first then update to the current public release.

mines ok. All devices show up and the correct usage.

Thanks. I’m not asking you to try it of course, but it would be useful to know if when you turn off screen time on a device that it disappears from the all devices list, and then when you re-enable it does it then show up in the all devices list once again? That’s what is all wrong for me. I’ve got a case open with Apple as of two days ago, but understandably they wouldn’t touch it until I was on full public releases. I’ll get back to them tomorrow.

It won’t matter. The update will be seen with the profile installed, mine was. Then you can delete it. I’m leaving mine in place, there is one bug that came with the initial release of 13.0 that I’m still hoping to see a fix for, but I may just give up.

I guess I really don’t have a comparison as I immediately updated my new 7+ but I can definitely say the latest iOS is no grand picnic. Have found numerous apps that crash and others that once in awhile freeze. I will likely go back to android after this. This is my first Apple phone and I’m not overly impressed.

Swiping with the keyboard and all the auto correct are much worse than in the previous beta. I always get words which doesn’t even exist and it’s still correcting previous words into wrong ones. And the keyboard is freezing again all the time. Is Apple ever going to fix this? Keyboard experience is still the worst I’ve ever had on one device.

Just when I thought they couldn’t F up Mail any worse, they did. Swiping right in an email used to take you to the previous screen with all your emails listed. This worked fine right up to 13.3 beta 4. Not anymore! Swiping right does nothing except display the unread option.

Kind of ironic that I must now rely on a Microsoft app (Outlook) on an Apple device. A 1.2 trillion dollar company can’t fix a few bugs in an email client. Truly sad.

"Bug" or a "design change" you just don't like?

Are you saying it is gone from the phone, or gone from your car? I haven't been to my car since the update, but I still see CarPlay options in settings where it always has been

I'm asking about it, but I'm not the one reporting the problem.

It was reported by Andres_Tamez here

Interesting... are you placing your finger from the middle of the screen or from the right side edge?

On my 13.3 and 13.2.3 devices, if I go from the middle - I am shown the Unread/read icon.

If I swipe from the far right side edge, then I am brought back to the inbox list.

Cheers,

Wonder when Apple will release the option to turn off location for photos that was recently exposed, they did say they will release the toggle off button in a upcoming update.

Doesn’t matter. The result is the same. Putting my finger at the left edge and swiping right shows the unread/read icon. iOS 13.3 beta 4 and all previous iOS 13 versions took me back to the inbox.

This change is driving me nuts because this gesture has become second nature for me. I’m ready to drop the mic and give up on Mail altogether.

Are you sure your 13.3 devices aren’t still on a beta?

Its official now, smart invert colours is just unusable anymore now. Its broken almost anywhere in the whole OS. Don't work in Safari anymore, news articles are unreadable, the colours invert back if you zoom etc. At this point just put the plug on this feature.

Its so unrespectfull for those who actually needs this accessibility feature.

My Mail app gestures are working just fine. Swiping right from the edge takes me to all previous screen while swiping on the email itself gives me the option to Mark Unread.
I’m on iOS 13.3 using 11 Pro
