Is anyone having an issue where the phone doesn't ring (or provide the watch ring) while connected to Carplay?

I’m noticing phone calls and texts still coming through audibly when the silent switch is enabled. I’m seeing texts (iMessage & SMS) not coming through on my Apple Watch S4. From all of the betas released for all releases of iOS 13, at least for me, the betas of 13.4 have been great, accept for these notification problems.

Yes I had the very same issue today and missed a very important call. Was not impressed are all. But that is the only I am having with this beta

I’m seeing terrible battery life on my iPad Pro 11in on iPadOS 13.4 b2. I was charged up to 100% last night before I unplugged it and stuffed it into my backpack for work this morning. Now I’m down to 80%, just with it sitting there with all apps closed for roughly 7 hours of standby (Or “overnight”).

anyone else seeing this:

Alarm is going off in the morning, vibrates prefect but sound is extremely low - not really audible. Slept too long already two days in a row

Anyone noticing issues with YouTube TV on this beta? I've been getting a lot of buffering on my 11 Pro Max, as well as iPad Air 2... XR on 13.3.1 seems perfect...

On my iPad Pro 9.7, the Logitech create keyboard the apostrophe key no longer works on this beta (13.4pb2). The speech mark works perfectly fine when I press shift and the same key. Anyone else have a similar keyboard issue?

If you’re using iPhone X or later try disabling and re-enabling Attention Aware features.

i am using iP7+ and did OTA update.. and it goes wrong for me.. my device becoming none responsive and my mobile network is in searching mode (not able to execute the Settings > mobile network).. any suggestion anyone? 😰😰😰

Phone 7 - No Service after iOS 13 update: Thats not good and I can understand that this can be very frustrating. Have you tried the steps listed in this link If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support ? If that does NOT help then your iPhone 7 may be part of the iPhone 7 Repair program and you can check whether you qualify by using the information in this link iPhone 7 Repair Program for "No Service" Issues - Apple Support .
I would check on the Repair Program first.

I got the same issue on my iphone xs, but i'm using e-sim for my mobile network, at first i thought the problem might comes from e-sim setting, but after i read your comment, i believe this is not the issue since your are using physical sim card.

for me after i update to ios 13.4 beta 2, everything run's fine, until one moment my mobile network is on searching mode and everything start to become not responsive, manage to backup my phone while in 13.4 beta 2 and revert back to ios 13.3.1 but can't run recover because it said my ios is old, so i hope the next beta release will fix this issue.

For me, the only time that happens (and it happens consistently) is the first email notifications I get after turning the phone on. Subsequent ones play the notification sound, as do any notifications from other apps.

There is another volume issue though, and that's when you have the ringer/alert volume "Change with Buttons" option enabled in settings. After any call (phone or FaceTime) that's put on audio, the ringer/alert volume is changed to match the media playback volume. If you typically have that really low, and the ringer/alert volume high, then it'll be changed to a very low volume after each call.

Both the above bugs have existed for months, with ignored Feedbacks.

This is a great illustration of what the major issue has become in iOS. Apple has design goals for new and frankly wonderful new things. They are rightly working towards completing those goals, all while designers are making even more new goals for them to reach for. That part is great. But what is missing is that simple, basic, kinda mandatory things don't work, get broken and never get fixed, and seem to be just being ignored.
It's kinda required that a phone rings when a call comes in. But here we are. Not only do we have the issue you noted but volume is so messed up, many of us have found that we must set the "change with buttons" to on, and disable our volume controls. Also of late there is a bug where we have NO ringing at all when using the phone in the car on Carplay.

Apple went all in on quality in iOS 12 and it showed. But iOS 13 has been a mess, and it's still a mess after most of a year. What will the coming months bring, what will iOS 14 and the next year bring?
I hope we will see a return to quality- even if that requires ambitions to be scaled back.

I hope once again that focus will be placed on the idea that the simple required functions must work.

This exact issue is happening for me as well. I‘ve noticed in the morning when I start to use my phone, I’ll get what sounds like the tail end of an email notification sound, and then look and see I’ve got maybe 4 or 5 new emails. Similar issues happening with texts where I’ll hear an audible text when I’m on silent or I’ll see a text come in, but not get the audible alert, when I don‘t have silent enabled. Like it’s all backwards.

I’m very very worried about the things to come in iOS 14. With SOOOO many bugs like this still around after 8 or so months, and knowing how things work on their end (not addressing bugs), this doesn’t bode well overall. Unless they keep compatibility up with devices that support iOS 13, there’s going to be a LOT of unhappy people using semi-old devices stuck on a broken platform.

I'm sure I read somewhere that iOS14 is going to run on all the same devices that currently support iOS13. Of course, whoever wrote that was guessing, but it feels like an accurate assessment.

In all the years I've used Apple devices I've never known the company be so indifferent to bugs of this nature. They're either aware of these issues and don't care enough to fix them, or are not reading the majority of Feedback requests because they have no interest in discovering user-reported issues.

Is HSBC app working for you on beta3?
I downgraded to 13.3.1 and everything was fine. So i rolled the dice and went on the Beta 3 and it's working fine touch wood... The issue i had was when i went to send money to someone the review screen went blank but its working as normal.
